that type of night for him... he does have 9 boards..

nate 1-10 is killing us..

So Nate actually played because it is hard to tell.

Nate was a -33 !!!

+/- stats don't tell the whole story, but Nate was indeed horrible tonight.

for example, Fishlips was a -15 & Gallo was a -4, but anyone who watched the game knows Jeffries played a much better game.

Chandler was 11-21...

most of his perimeter J's were bricks which led to some easy scoring opps for the T'Wolves on the other end... when he drove to the basket he was way more efficient... he put up a good point total tonight but he wasn't as big of a factor tonight as his point total suggests.

Yeah, just checked the boxscore. 27 points. Not the biggest problem. Nate and Gallo had serious issues tonight.

Lee with no offensive rebounds. Like I said his rebounds came from the weakside.

I check the +/- stat every night. -33 is quite rare.

definitely is... Hughes should have been inserted earlier on, it was clear Nate didn't have it tonight very early... & Hill should have gotten all of Bender's 6:50... 13 minute runs are not going to get him into any kinda groove, particularly if 3 of those minutes come in garbage time.

Fishlips is forced to rotate over to double cuz Lee can't guard him 1 on 1, which leaves someone open on the perimeter & the ball gets swung around to Ellington for a wide open 3... this is just an example of how Lee's poor defense hurts this team on most nights... he's a terrific offensive player but his defense is a huge problem

lee also blocked gallo on a putback rebound.. gallo was right there about to tip it in and lee literally blocke it.. hahahaha..

Seriously Lee only seems to want to fight his teammates for rebounds vs. the opposition. I miss the hustle.

Al couldn't add anything to this game but shenanigans.

made shots would have helped... we shot so many bricks tonight i lost count of how many mansions went up

Lately Al has been laying the foundation. He ain't the same.

he's been bothered by a bum knee & bad back recently & played through the injuries... that would explain his struggles... even so he would have been better than Wilson, Gallo or Nate as a scoring option tonight.

But we don't need another scorer.. we got outrebounded 58-36.. we don't need another scorer like Al.. who doesn't defend or board.. it seems as if every body on this team wants to be an offensive weapon now.. LOL.. looking for shots, trying to get theirs.... we need guys to commit to roles.. heck, even david lee forced up a three pointer earlier. this whole dantoni offensive philosophy has some guys feeling themselves... and they are just playing all out of sorts..

Jordan Hill needs to do a better job of controlling the balls when he's fighting for the rebounds... he puts forth a great effort trying to get at them but he has a problem holding onto them... at least he did collect 3 offensive rebounds in only 13 minutes (4 total)... if this kid got regular starters minutes he'd be putting up good rebounding totals every night just based off his effort alone.

David Lee was not boxing out like he usually does, he looked flat but he was knocking down his midrange J's... didn't finish as well as he usually does either... Fishlips & Wilson didn't box out their men either... i'm actually shocked to see Gallo collected 3 offensive bounds, didn't seem like he was playing with much energy at all to me tonight.

it's laziness pure & simple... Fishlips played all 48 minutes last night but he gave forth a real effort tonight... can't say the same for anyone else that played tonight other than Jordan Hill, & he hasn't been given any appreciable minutes as of yet.

these guys need to accept their roles & work in those roles, not try to be what they're not... even Fishlips is launching up shots now thinking he's Lamar Odom for crying out loud... at least Al Harrington knows his role is to come off the bench & be instant offense & for the most part he's done well in that role... our lack of any interior defense is our biggest weakness right now, i agree w/u, but IMO Al can help in games like this where guys are bricking up shots left & right.

yea. early on in the game, gallo was crashing the boards.. in the first 6 minutes he had 5 points and three boards.. was taken out with dantoni's silly ass sub patterns... came back in, had to regain rhytym. got some boards and then picked up two fouls.. back to the bench.... I hate the way we use him..

I also agree that hill needs to hold onto the ball.. but he should have been getting minutes from day 1.. right now any points he gives us are a bonus, it takes time as a rookie to get timing down... so if he can give us energy and athleticism down low. I will take that...

seriously.. & unless MDA is trying to pump up Bender's trade value i see no reason why he's even playing right now... maybe they hope to use him as filler for some deal? i can only hope so, cuz he is literally painful to watch out there.

Has anyone noticed LB and the Bobcats are winning?
