Any team is going to go to their best three point shooter in that situation. Gallo looked good all game, and was not intimidated at all by Artest but he needed to take better care of the ball the last two possesions. That is on him not on the team. He is the teams best three point shooter.

I have to give it to gall tonight , he came into the game focused and he got off early.

td gets dnp-cd's now and hill is getting to play (a lil bit)... id rather see the rooks play and lose then jj+duhon (for the majority of the mins) and lose.

He took his energy drinks early, but he should have take 5 hr ones. That was too much for him , he will get better poised in a yr or two

Duhon - Wow the cannot push the ball and is total GARBAGE. If we had Jennings feeding Lee, Gallo, and Chandler we'd be nasty.

Harrington - Too predictable. Perfect example of a guy trying to do to much. Chandler was shining so Harrington tried to get his nut off.

David Lee - Great offensive game with zero D. Z Bo is that you?

Chandler - Great game and played on both ends. I want to see CONSISTENCY from him though.

Gallinari - Too in love with his jumper and off the dribble moves like molasses. Seems to get slower as the game progresses.

Robinson - Seems he was actually trying to be a PG. I guess he was auditioning for the Lakers.

Jefferies - Dude's defense is SSSSSSOOOOOO overrated. Gasol gave him the business and Kobe did as well. Please give Hill and Douglas this bums minutes. Jefferies has negative offense too.

Overall typical game. Lakers kept it close all game even though we were playing out of our minds. The 4th quarter came around and the Laker's decided to put us too sleep. Gasol swatting David Lee was mildly amusing.

Ron artest dissagrees with this statement..

he actually forced kobe into a bunch of tough shots..and gasol is just a much bigger player... but hey, He I guess he is overrated, I mean Kobe and gasol.. those two scrubs don't torch everyone else they play.. (shaking my head.. rolling eyes)..

Coming back from the game I can only think of one main reason for that loss...coaching. I think D'Antoni is a very good coach but he lost us this game with his subs at the beginning of the 4th quarter. We were in control of the game and had the momentum until the 4th when we had Larry Hughes (who hasn't played significant minutes in how long?) running the show at PG. Our offense was lost all of a sudden and we fell behind. I realize Duhon was missing every shot but he at least can run an offense.

Our two best players tonight were Lee and Wilson and at least one of them should have been on the floor to start the 4th. We gave the Lakers an opportunity to take control of the game and they did.

that's something that was alluded to here. the lineup they had in to start the fourth, or early in the fourth (i gotta see the game again) was just pure ****. what the **** was taht? that's when the lead started to slip and we were never able to regain happy.

Did something happen to Nate?

Everyone in our section was wondering why Hughes got the nod over him. Did Nate get hurt? We weren't told anything so not sure if we missed something.

Hughes looked rusty and his dribble was high. I don't think that was the game to bring him back in. Also, I hope he was told he might play.

Ron Artest is tenacious but he is getting old. Gallo wasn't blowing by old Artest. The older players dont look to hot in back to back games. See Marbury 2 years ago. I think Phil realized it and that is why Artest sat a large portion of the 4th.

Jefferies putting a hand up means NOTHING when he cant score on the other end of the floor. This isnt football man. The Lakers weren't even guarding Jefferies when he caught the ball on the perimeter. Douglas and Hill should be getting ALL of Jefferies minutes period. I know a hand in Kobe's face isn't going to do much. You either have to get up on him or get your face blown off. Plus Kobe looked like he had pathetic elevation all night. You telling me Chandler would have done a worse job?

We should have been playing Lee, Hill, Gallo, Chandler, and Douglas. At the rookies are an offensive threat.

Artest is injured and playing thru it. They talked about his having a bad finger and another injury (back spasms?) but said that he couldn't complain because Kobe played thru his injuries. I was impressed that Gallo wasn't intimidated but Artest did not look like himself. He is also back from a head injury. If you have watched the guy play you know that he is not playing like he did as recently as last year with the rockets.

I like watching Houston so I saw plenty of him last year. He looks slow this year. I dont know if it is injuries or age but they guy looks like he has no quickness. I liked watching Artest because he actually moves his feet on defense.

If Gallo cant blow by a slow Artest he shouldn't be playing SF. I was pretty annoyed when Gallo chucked that 3 while Gasol was on him.
