Wilson Chandler was the only Knick to appear in all 82 games this season.

Hey, take your on topic points... oh wait

That is a very nice stat, ESPECIALLY for someone who after last years lost year, is essentially a rookie. (I think many here are too hard on the guy.)

That said, I hope he develops upstairs more. The coaches say he beings into the games whatever they mention, but he isn't exactly a cerebral player... Hence, they might start playing him at SG more, thoughts?

ha. hey, no offense but this isn't exactly the most "cerebral" comment.

eheh, ok, but let's not compare a quick post from work with getting paid millions. I meant that Chandler is a hard worker. You can be a really hard worker but you are going to need to "put it all together" eventually. Regarding playing SG, I thought he might do better with less responsibilities. (If indeed SG has less responsibilities than SF). I'm not super cerebral right now, am I clear?

earthman - If you were a hard worker at work you might not be posting on a Knicks Basketball thread while your boss was looking the other way.

Danilo Gallinari doesn't need to be super cerebral to bust three consecutive jumpers from 25 feet either.

wilkins shot .745 from the line, jamal shot .837

ill will! i'm not a fan of the "this is like his rookie year" argument at this point - it's been 117 games and two coaches/systems. but sophomores can definitely still improve, he is young and still learning the game. i'm looking for his %s to improve and for him to have fewer 5-14 clunkers. i also don't think decisionmaking is his strong point, but that could easily be more a function of his age/experience and having mostly played in the frontcourt, rather than some controversial bball IQ thing... i'm glad d'antoni likes him, he sees a lot more of his game and approach than we fans do, i'll take it.

Work is slow, not doing anything wrong, but thanks for your projection

I don't get your DG example? Gallo's decision making creates a lot of his shots, it doesn't hurt that he has a good first step and high release. I love shooters, but Chandler is an athletic freak and if he plays to his strengths and smarter (I'm really talking about better passing and decisions) the sky is the limit for that young fella. I should have been clear about that as I was a bit paradoxical. The thing I was alluding to, is that you can only develop so much IQ as a player. I don't mean to be hard on the guy, really, he is one of my favorites on the team...
