Amare blasted Lee - He was frustrated that Lee was outplaying him.

Eny - great title for the thread!

If by blasted you mean flagrant fouled him, I totally agree. I would be surprised if that play wasn't reviewed by the league. A suspension or fine would not be shocking. Consider that players have been fined for much less, and review the play again. I love Amare, and I don't blame him for getting frustrated as every other player has at some point, but to me it's obvious that he threw his whole body into Lee while David was in mid-air. Sure, he put his hand up to at least aesthetically resemble a block-attempt, but the physics of his full-body motion betray this image. That's how players get hurt.

Didn't even look intentional to me. Mid air collision in which Lee came off worse. Can't see a case for reviewing it.

Well, since there was an immediate whistle and flagrant foul called by the refs; and no one protesting the call; and David Lee looking back discustedly at Amare since Lee had the lane and Amare came in from the side; and Nate getting in Amare's face; and the other Sun's players looking either down or away from Amare; I think it is safe to say that everyone on the court thought the flagrant technical call was the correct call.

I thought there was but maybe I am wrong. I am watching the game on Cosmic's download. So maybe it wasn't called. But in watching it over and over, it sure looked like a flagrant to me.

No flagrant called. Wasn't Nate's technical for leaving the technical area?

yes... he was off the bench & got onto the court taunting Amare after Lee dunked on him... the guy is seriously a knucklehead, i wonder if he's ever gonna get it into his head to stop acting like an idiot.

at the beginning of the season i almost fooled myself into thinking he'd grown up some, but it's obvious to me he's still the same immature kid he's always been.
