We need to give it time. I hate loosing a game like this but what you see it what you get. In order to play in New York you have to first have your head on straight. Take a look at the 1973 champion Knicks. They had Debusher, Clyde, Reed, Bill Bradley,Earl the Pearl,Phil Jackson and the rest of the team. These guys were smart and educated. They learned all about the game and how to deal with New York because New York is a special place. Todays Knicks look like they don't belong here and not educated to the game of basketball. Oh they got game but only once and a while they apply it. Thats not what we need. We need a team that can come out and win every game they are susposed to win and find a way to win games they are not susposed to win. Now that's an educated professional basketball player who leaves it all out on the court every game.

I'm not sure if players like that are rarer today or if we somehow just don't get them in New York. Did those guys live in the city? Seems like all the players want to live in Westchester. I think your average NBA guy finds a suburban lifestyle more amenable these days.
