Lee will be back saturday we need nate back and great job by the whole team tonght

Once Nate comes back I think this might be a better than .500 team. There are still other flaws, but at this effort level, with this mix of players (more versatility than what we had previously with Zach and Craw), they can be competetive almost every night.

Wish D'Antoni could make Curry, once he returns, work as hard as he is making the Knicks play. That would be something

Iagree you cant play Duhon 45 minutes a night and you have to have fresh legs. I wish we could find a couple more players that could help us.

If he can do that, just hand him the COY award the next day.

Curry or no Curry, if he takes this Knicks team to the playoffs, he deserves COY.

To me, much of this is about how good D'Antoni is as a coach.

That's the thing I think needs to finally be accepted about MDA. He's a great coach in the making. He just needs to win a title to cement his legacy, cuz in my eyes he's one of the best coaches in the league. He's the kind of guy that can take a group of players and clearly make them better than the sum of their parts.

where is the guy who was bashing MDA for his record without Nash? He has to admit that MDA is showing himself to be a very solid coach with this undermanned and unbalanced team!

I am right here and he is coaching below .500 ball. Oh and btw, he is undermanned by his own doing, so no kudos for that. Have a good night.

MDA loves teams like what we have. Very flexible players with some size and athletic ability. Al is a prototypical MDA player. As Chandler progresses he's also going to be right up MDA's alley. I think that's also why Walsh picked Gallo. He's got that combination of size, agility, skill and smarts to play the team game. What we're seeing now is as close as were ever gonna get to the championship Knicks of the past. MDA is preaching that kind of ball and I love it. With ever pass I grin harder and harder. Don't you love seeing this team share the ball?

Phar lol. I think that dude jumped off the edge a long time ago. His hate for Gallinari makes me laugh the most.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

So I didn't see this one... box score makes it look like Al Harrington was listening to his criticisms for not taking it hard to the rim... accurate?

You got it Supreme. I give Trautwig credit, he asked him that question after the game and Harrington smiled and said one of his friends from back home got ahold of him and told him every great player gets to the line.

I'm really liking Al.

Oh yeah, he was going to the rack constantly tonight.

Played a great game. Seriously.

All right, good--no GREAT--to hear. I really hopes this isn't an aberration and he proves people like me wrong the rest of the way.

Wow! I just came back to see this response. Come on now Phar, just man up on this one. We've all been wrong once in our lives... well except for Bip, but he isn't human so that doesn't count.

What else do you need to see from MDA in order to finally give him credit and admit that you were wrong about him? He's turned Duhon into a very solid Starting PG and even after the trades he's fairly quickly gotten Al and TT to produce and play team ball, when other coaches had failed and given up on trying!!! I mean what else can you expect from him? He's doing more with less than anyone had reason to think he could do.

I will give you this one, Nixluva, Nash isn't the same with D'Antoni. I do believe he benefits point guards because he let them just run without a set offense. I still believe he has issues that keeps him from becoming a great coach. Remember they are still 10-12 let's see how the season plays out.

Man you do realize that with this team we shouldn't even be sniffing .500 right now? No one would've given us that kind of record with all that crap that has gone down this year. The Steph saga. The trades and the injuries which have left us so undermanned. Heck we've been in most of these games despite not having enough healthy bodies. Do you realize what a great job MDA is doing with so few players on the bench? Fatigue has clearly gotten the best of the team in a few of these losses. It's not like we lost just not playing well, but fully healthy. You could see the team hit the wall in some of these games. Then tonight they tough it out and get a road win. Heck we could've had one the night before!!!

MDA has definitely delivered & then some... working w/a 7 man rotation for the past several games & all the drama w/Dinglebury & the injuries... i'm surprised this team is only 2 games under .500 at this stage in the season.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

D'A deserves coach of the year!
Zach also turned around and became a valued player, easy to trade, under D'A reign.
The bottom line - players believe in him ... and play for him.
