we do not have a consistent go to player except for Zbo... no 2nd option at all, and no one stepped up tonight.

If Zbo goes down, it is over!

The Knicks didn't have Zach so obviously this game doesn't count.

Yeah and we'll ignore the Heat's loss in Wade at that.

This game didn't count. I love Nixluva the other day saying we had to put the Orlando loss behind us and take care of the Heat. Well it's time to put both losses behind us and look ahead to some West Coast back-to-backs.

This isn't about me or any other poster. Let's keep this on BB.

This was a REALLY bad loss. I had a bad feeling when they kept missing so many easy close shots. I also didn't like how the ref's decided to completely swallow their whistles. Last game they made bad calls so this game this crew decides not to make ANY CALLS? The officiating is awful.

Anyway the real problem was the lack of offense IMO. We played about as hard as I think we could expect defensively, but we missed so many shots and AGAIN turned it over too much. That last 2 TO's by Steph and Jamal were tough. I don't blame Curry for his TO, cuz the angle of that pass made it easy for Haslem to reach in and tip the ball. Why try to make the pass from the side when Curry has his man pinned behind him? That just gave Haslem a good angle to make the tip.

Seriously dude? You're going to blame the refs for tonight's loss?

Wow.

You managed to come up with an irrelevant excuse along the lines of why they lost a couple games real bad in Pre-Season due to "back-to-backs". Now you're trying to highlight officiating when the refs clearly gave Mardy Collins a gift in which he blew two free throws and the refs immediately follow that call up with a call for the Heat sending Haslem to the line, where he proceeds to Mardy Collins his free throws also. That was in the last 3:00min of the game and yet you're talking about refs swallowing their whistles.

Luva you need to Fall Back and Low Down on this one.

I actually didn't blame him for this. Yeah he made a mistake, but we should've been further in the lead if this team is making shots. We're an offensive team and we were totally out of sync. Part of that was Isiah trying to get more D, which I agree with for the longterm success of the team. It was the 1st time he broke away from the tight rotation and we had some very different lineups out there. PEOPLE LET'S NOT MAKE THIS INTO A FEDERAL CASE! I don't think we should just assume that this team won't play better than this. Was this our normal rotation or style of play? HECK NO! I think as time passes by and we start to work Mardy into the rotation we'll get some good results. I thought he was pretty good considering he hasn't played.

See unlike the LOSER FAKE FANS who can't wait for this team to have a bad stretch to declare the sky is falling, i'm not gonna jump off the bandwagon and cry about a bad loss or 2. I think this hurts more due to the upcoming road trip. The loss of Q and the idea the we don't know when ZBo will rejoin the team. Still that won't last forever. It's so early that i'm not even close to panicking over these losses. I'll leave that for the group of guys here who can't see the forest for the trees in an 82 game schedule. People wrote the team off when we had the suspensions last year too and the team responded. Don't be so quick to assume this team can't refocus and get back on track.

Good.

Here's hoping for an 0-4 road trip. That's pretty realistic when the Kings game might be the only game they have a chance in. They aren't beating the Suns, the Clips are playing very well and the Nuggets will be looking for revenge.

Papabear Says

This team is not as good as we think it is. We play down to the level of every team we play. This was a horrible loss. Maybe some of the haters are right I really don't know.Maybe we are headed again to the lottery. I'm not about to give up but!! They stunk up the place. No defense. Zeke's days are numbered after 30 games but he can't go out there and play the game for them. No defense is contaigous.
From what I see maybe these players (all of them) are not as good as we think they are including David Lee. We have no superstar no defensive stars!! Nothing. Hey I love the Knicks I'm a die hard fan but when they play this way I can't defend them. They may very well loose the next 4 games. I would not be surprised as a matter of fact if no defense its a done deal.

^ I really hope we go 0-10 the next 10.

I LOVE the Knicks, but not the way they're at now. Franchise ain't in a good place. Time for change.

And I'm not a bandwagoner. I'm an optimist actually, I'm probly too fair.

Free throw is a free throw I don't care if you haven't played or not once Mardy missed those two free throws all the red flags went up and you knew right there the chance of losing had just went up enormously.

Why? All you do is assume that the Knicks will get on the right track. That's all you've ever done and without much reason why except for blind hope.

You know what. We should have won this game, but I am not going to go crazy about. I like that IT is getting Mardy some run. The kid is probably our best passer and a heady player and solid defender. He has to learn how to score and hit his free throws, but this team needs defense in the worse way. Once Zach comes back, his offense will offset Collins' lack of offense. This heat team wanted the game and we played like they were just going to give us the win. That being said, the team needs to get over it and go win some games on the road. Tough losses happen, but we are still early in the season. I am more concerned about our record in March, than I am about one loss in November.

The thing is that the team has playe FIVE FREAKIN GAMES!!! You would think that it would be allowed a typical 20 game stretch before the rats abondoned the ship. I just don't understand the mental weakness of Knick fans. Now people are predicting Isiah's demise and hoping for a 10 game losing streak. People are saying that we don't have the needed talent on this team to win. I think all of this is very premature.

1st off no one on this forum or in NY came into this season thinking this team was a world beater. Did we expect that there would be no rough patches? Did we expect error free basketball all year? I think you'd have to be nuts to think that. You know the makeup of the team. I do still believe that this team will find itself and play better. Teams like the Bulls and even Miami will likely find themselves. Some teams that are off to great starts may hit a rough patch and come back to earth a bit. IT'S EARLY PEOPLE!!! 2-3 is not the end of the world, even if it is just before a big road trip.

You got to bust out the gate fast and they haven't they can't even win home games. Thats not a good sign I don't care if it preseason or the regualr season you lose home games that is a very bad sign of things to come.
