bippity - being callad an Uncle Tom is not an insult.

Actually, it's quite funny.

I actually wasn't insulted. I was just waiting for an explanation as to where it came from. That's what I mean by "left field"

bippity - you gotta learn to roll with the punches dude.

There ain't nothin' a good-ol' fashioned "rope-a-dope" cannot solve.

if someone EVER calls you an Uncle Tom again, just laugh it off

if I called killa4luv an Uncle Tom yesterday he would still be cracking up. And that is no joke.

Misterearl: There may be 2 people on this board that crack more jokes than I. And yes you would laugh it off if Killa called you that name because of the context, as I have done countless times. At the moment when the comment was made to me it wasn't meant to be a joke. I didn't get upset and actually cracked a sarcastic post shortly thereafter(The infamous Renaldo Balkman is white post of 2007) that had the "uncle tom" calling offender calling me a few other choice names.

Now before we get off topic again. This has nothing to do with the intention of the comment and everything to do with race on this site constantly being pulled out of left field. Often times in response to people that are just being passionate about their team. We've established that you do not think this is true and that I feel it is. I think we can roll with the punches on this and move on as well.

Move on?

Heck bippity, I'm just getting started.

if there are nearly 2500 views, who really cares whether it is "on" topic of "off" topic?

it's only basketball

I didn't tell you to move on from this post. I said let's move on from the discussion between you and me in regards to the "left field" comments. You can feel free to go back to the Isiah thing andthe myriad of other side conversations in this thread if you like. I probably will too. I was just talking about OUR DISCUSSION. Which to me was seperate. But if you don't want to move on from the disccussion betwen you and me on this one topic than we can go around in circles and come to the same conclusions a few more times. I'm game. I've done it before.
