He gave Nash the blueprint for how to give a good team like SA a really tough fight in the playoffs. Unfortunately Nash must have never looked at it!

Nash got the MVP award mainly because Steph really gave him the blueprint on how to properly use Amare and Marion.

They didn't get to the ship so basically they had a short summer for nothing. Marbs is well rested

Its not true that Steph never helped to improve a team, cuz he improved the TWolves the second he got there.

26-56 the year before Steph, then 40-42 and the Playoffs when he comes on board.
His 2nd year he helped the Twolves to their 1st winning season ever and another playoff appearance.

He led the 02-03 Suns to a 44-38 record and the Playoffs.

Even in his 1st yr in NY he didn't have a losing record, despite the change in roster that slowed the teams progress. At least the team didn't give up and did just make the playoffs.

Has his record been full of great successes, no, but at the same time he has had some good seasons, especially taking into account the teams he played with. There isn't a single team in his whole career that was ever good enough to be considered a serious title contender.
