Every since he told reporters he's playing better than he's played in yrs, he's been pretty brutal. In particular with the return of Nash. Dwight healthier, Nash healthier, Gasol back to putting his big pants on, contribution from an unknown in Clark but hey Kobe said...."WE'RE OLD AS HELL".

I wonder if he included himself

Kuptchak needs to trade for another Superstar to help Kobe get another ring

Given the age of all the players, they needed everything to be just right and it looks like Pau's got bad knees and Dwight isn't back to normal. I'm not even sure they should keep this squad together vs. starting completely over by trading Pau, Dwight, Nash, and possibly Kobe. They could get a lot for those players and set the franchise up nicely for the very long-term.

Kobe on Twitter...

This one is on meCouldn't throw the ball in the ocean if I was sitting on a boat. Had plenty of easy looks#noexcuses gotta get my legs back

Naaaahh for real Kobe no way!!!!!

How about you start passing the ball to more efficient players or better yet let Nash direct the offense and use you Melo "decoy" style. I'd be so pissed off if I were his teammate. It has to be so difficult playing with him.

I understand why they didn't match the offer but I do think he would help us now since we're a bad rebounding team and our starting SG is White.

Might be Z-Bo, although they wouldn't need to trad Lin to make it work, just enough of the kids + Delfino would get it done.

Source says that the Memphis Grizzlies may keep Rudy Gay, and instead trade Zach Randolph to the Houston Rockets. Houston loves Randolph.

If the Rockets land Randolph and keep Harden they have a shot at the second round out west which is a huge accomplishment.
Randolph, Asik, and Parsons is a great frontline.

Great??..Bird, McHale and Parish was great...Houston is 7-16 against Western Conference teams..Only NO and SAC has a worse record against their conference and by like 1 game...It's difficult for me to see Houston play at that pace for 82 games...Randolph game doesn't really suit what Houston is doing...Houston is spreading you out and going at you one on one...they are playing at a fast pace as well..Should be interesting...

Optimistically, yes. In that case, our backup is White.

I am a big ZBO fan and I do think they would be a lot better with him.

Kobe asking for roster help. Wow. Go mike.
Kobe made an indirect plea to LAL's front office: "Unless they’re going to do something roster-wise, I got to continue to push through it"

So BRICKBE....pretty much says I'm going to keep building a new Staples Center from the ground up 1 BRICK @ a time...although it's not necessarily best for the team.

He's talking out of both sides of his mouth actually because here's more to how he responded to the reporters question(s)

"This team needs me on both ends of the floor," said Bryant, who has taken a larger defensive role in the past week. "So unless they're going to do something roster-wise, I have to continue to push through it."

Does Bryant believe the Lakers' front office needs to make a move?

"No," he said. "Listen, if this is what we're rolling with, I can't make excuses. I have to go out there and do my job."

So in 1 breath he says "unless they are going to make a move" and then follows up and says "NO" but then says..."if this is what we're rolling with"....

Similar to many Yankee rosters that were built so that only Joe Torre could manage them, this team and Kobe especially need PJax.

Yeah I was totally wrong I thought D'AnToni was right for their team but he will not be able to control INEEDMOREHELPBE and ultimately he will destroy that team. Too late for Phil though.

Denver beats the Thunder. Faried is really good. Has to hit his free throws.

Nuggies pull out a very horribly officiated game and I'm talking both sides of the ball. Worst professions in all of sports.

I am not a fan of dantoni and definitely am biased when it comes to him. I thought the lakers might have enough talent to overcome his ineptness.

They've already tried two coaches this year. Maybe it's the players.

Bickerstaff was doing fine. The reports when brown was fired were saying that management wanted him out before the schedule got easier. Nash, Howard, gasol, world peace, Kobe and Jamison is a lot of talent. Not sure what the deal was with pushing the Princeton offense but now bickerstaff and Jordan sit behind the bench during games and Dan dantoni is on the bench. Not sure what is up with that but the lakers defense has been really bad. There is too much talent for that team to be this bad.
