I really want that guy. He's a viking beast.

The thing is, he wanted to play overseas last year. Is he coming here to compete with Drummond for backup duties? I know Leon was his agent which helps. But I assumed he wants to leave the nba.

NY is way closer to Europe than Denver it’s just a cheap flight from JFK away.

Give it a moment of thought. I doubt "Cheap flight" is a priority.
He is from Lithuania. His wife of 11 years also. They have a son. Are they rooted in Lithuania and does he want to be close to home and where does he want his 13 year old son schooled. From what I read last year his family moved to Lithuania. They were frustrated by the trades. Three teams in three years! His wife is not a bimbo. Has an degree in electrical engineering.
She is substantial intelectually and very attractive. He has made about $160,000,000. He has a standing offer to play in Lithuania for a very good team.

Why would he want to be a bit player off the bench for a couple mil when he did not want to play in Denver for 10mil? They held him to his contract and would not release him to play in europe. So in one year what do you think changed?

It took all of 20 seconds to see there are not direct flights from JFK to Lithuania. If there was its a "starting point of 10-13 hours". So Phil, whats your point other than NYC is geographically closer to Europe? That he can catch a cheap flight? Or his Family can drop what they are doing to see him here and there? He is 34 years old and play at a high level in Europe.

My guess unless something has changed he'll go play in europe. But think of the airline points he is missing out?

Egle Valachunas says hello!

I never said there was a direct flight to Lithuania. Yes there’s a connection but it’s cheap and fast. Obviously traveling from NY to Vilnius is at lot faster and easier than from Denver. Did you forget your medications today normally your unhinged rambling tangents are about basketball not traveling.

As if your geographical brilliance itself was related?
Your assumptions are often ignorant. I gave you context.

Please try to make sense.

Will you guys leave my girl's picture out your arguments please?

A trade offering Dadiet for Jericho Sims makes the most sense to me. The salaries match, Milwaukee has a roster hole & needs a scoring forward more than they need a 3rd string center. We know Sims can defend the perimeter and chase down block from behind. Drummond can't do this. Also had a 60 %+ free throw percentage last season. Sims becomes the primary backup at center and Drummond falls to 3rd string where he belongs at this stage of his career. Extend Sims ...3 years 13 mil, then our roster is set for the next 3 years.

For what it’s worth we could trade Dadiet for Sims, and sign another big and bring Nickel in on a second round exception deal for the 15th spot. I am a fan of this approach for sure. However, I do think the Knicks are saving Dadiet’s contract to potentially use around the trade deadline based on how things look then.

Jericho Sims has proven to the Knicks that he does not have what it takes and they traded him away for a 3rd string PG?

Loved his vertical potential but he already had his time here

Reports are that at PHilC's urging he is studing the Atlas and wondering should he use KAYAK or Expedia for his "Quick" JFK jaunts when the booty call need arises.

Reports are that his elecrical engineer wife already understood (Thanks to Phil the rest of us do now!) that NYC is on the east coast of the north american continent and remains just a quick two stop 10-13 hour flight! They are in deep geogrphical study to determine her ovulation schedule and if its a good fit with knicks or not.

I’m curious about him because he went to Kentucky, did high school in NY, and is a CAA client. All these things that typically tie a player to the Knicks. Guess there’s something there they don’t like about him because he really isn’t a bad player.

Likely wanted more than teams were willing to offer so now he'll have to settle for the minimum and try again next summer.
