You’re right. Knicks probably wouldn’t have traded back from #24 and just taken him there, never know with the Lakers

I was hoping he falls in the 31st pick but we squandered that pick anyways.

But some guys have the IT factor, The German kid has shown that, and nickel for his lights out shooting . Can’t believe both of these guys slipped to us deep in the second round!!

Haven't caught much of SL, but caught a bit of the 1st and 3rd quarters tonight, including two chase form blocks by Dadiet. Seemed out of left field! Keep reading comments from the beat writers on how this kid is an NBA player and the Knicks have high belief in him.

I'm still hopeful, but my expectations from a year ago have been cut in half.

I think Deuce still has a chance to come back longterm. Dadiet is toast. He’s only still here because he’s future matching salary above the minimum.

There is certainly his contract numbers and the stupid second apron but I don't know why the Knicks wouldn't have time or the patience unless they need to make a bigger move that would involve his salary or roster spot?

It's not like there is a rotation spot that Dadiet would need to fill right now unless there is some major injuries? With Deuce, Shamet, Clarkson, Mo ahead of Dadiet within the wing rotation, I don't know how he gets minutes even in the upcoming year. And those are just he bench guys without Kolek and GTA.

I legit do not understand the remarks that Knicks need to move on from Dadiet in the "now" timeframe based off of what we have seen in either the GL or SL or garbage time. IMHO you can only tell so much and it's so limited to be worthless unless you do very very well, and even then it's not really a good benchmark.
