![]() This summer league team was boring compared to last year’s team. Not sure why. Knicks have decent prospects but need to add some shooting in their pipeline. Dadiet didn’t get a chance to play much. Maybe that would have made a difference.

If you are a reserve wing and not an elite scorer and don't have a high level skill when it comes to shooting or defense, there isn't a role to llay in a rotation. I still think he could develop in time, but I don't see him as a player that makes this roster. Will he be willing to stay on a 2-way and work on his 3 and D skillset or playmaking? I actually thought Dink Pate looked really good in the 4th. He is another guy that will take time, but he played with a good motor and has raw athleticism. Knocked down some 3s. He is still really young. Guy should have gotten a couple years in college. He is the perfect guy to put on a 2-way. Hr probably wont't get much NBA time, but he could really come up the curve by the end of the season. |

![]() Beauchamp should look good. He an NBA player vs. SL talent.
This is not the final test BTW, and As I said if Brown has dictated guys play a certain way NOW it could be what makes or breaks them as knicks. Kolek was drafted for teh Thibian way. He might be a good NBA player one day but maybe not for Brown and the timeline that is win now. If it works out that way its not that knicks blew it, its that this is the pararmeter and the context of the moment. This was Obi Toppin who migth have fit great with Mike Browns knicks vs. What Thibs wanted a few years ago. Last year Thibs was given Kat and Mikal and wanted it sped up. Perhaps OBI would have been a better fit? But when it was decided to cut bait with him than pay him, this was the moment. As for Kolek, he does push the ball in transition well. Sort of "Caitlen Clark" Like. As I said weeks ago, I can see him sticking or getting waived/traded. He might have a better chance with another club now. |

For him to contribute at the NBA level it will be distribution of the bball. He has terrific passing talent, but being able to break teams off the dribble and score occasionally will make this plausible. I think he's gonna do enough of this. These are two terrific moves off the bounce |
