I don't see Mitch getting the same opportunity somewhere else, that he's getting in NY. And I agree that Randle had another good game. He should be measured by wins and not by stats. Its clear that Randle alone will not work and he needs to learn how to lead this team, by doing other things outside of scoring.

Disagree. Mitch will get run on ANY team. He will start on most. Fact is, Mitch's high energy, rebounding and rim protection game is a commodity. No matter how some Knick fans seem to ignore it. His age is also a big factor. Do not know if we can all put it on him for not developing other skills but maybe a different outside source can do a better job of developing those. Fact remains, guys like MR do not grow on trees. Really do hope we do not give up on the kid and he gets some decent money to stay.

The boxscore doesn't capture Mitch's complete impact on the game. He was a big reason why we came back and beat Boston...He had a big offensive rebound/tip-out that lead to a big 3 by Fournier to cut the lead in the 4th. Not to mention the alley-oop from RJ. His presence also cause some penetrated to change their shot at the rim....He covers-up a lot for us on both sides of the ball.
