Lowry staying too. Most likely they end up resigning him or else thats just very poor asset management.

Toronto reportedly asking for the Laker's Tucker and the Heat's Herro in proposals. Lowry is probably too rich for the Knicks.

This front office is more conservative then MILS.

Hope they aren't over confident they're getting Ball in the summer like they thought they were getting KD, Irving, Kawhi, 2 yrs ago.

Sitting on 16 mill you basically have to give away now

Not much more conservative. We got a 1st rounder for Morris, and no quick fixes. Why Im glad Perry is still around. Doesnt make panic moves.

Not saying Rose does, but he's been on the other side of the table, in deals.

Wonder how much cap room that is?

Only about 50 Million committed.

Lol. Two guys I thought we should get. Especially if a sign a trade could be worked out.

Trent is RFA and Powell ha a player option but can and likely will be UFA. I’m not sure I get the angle unless Portland trading McAllumm or dare I say Dame? Trent and Hood 2 Dukies!

I don't understand this for the Blazers- they had control over Trent, where as now they could lose Powell in free agency

So what did they actually get Back in Harden trade besides poverty picks?

Does this mean Boston jumps on the grenade, er, I mean Drummond.

Hate to say it but knicks can grab Drummond for 16mm multi year deal and him avoid free agency. At some point he gives the team a different look. As a starter? As a back up 5? Randle does not play a traditional 5.

I’m not loving it just spitballing. At some price he is a trade asset down the road.
If an albatross at any cost then no.

I don't watch either TOR or POR but I'll make a guess.

When you have Dame on your team, you need to be ALL IN. And that also means taking risks for an upgrade for a win now team. Teams will gauge interest via agents to see whether or not a player will resign and I'm sure those discussions were had.

The upside: You extend a player at even $20+M (and that's a LOT for Powell) and you have the option to trade CJ and upgrade your roster even more.
