Love the ball just isn't sticking today.
Quick early feeds and quick decisions

KP has to find a way to stay out of foul trouble. He is too aggressive with his hands. Gotta play D with your feet as well.

That felt like Van Gundy's strategy, too. Slow ball.

So many teams can force the pace, the Warriors are really the only team I've seen be able to play at a breakneck pace and also still defend well. Sometimes the Cavs and Spurs can play like that, but not it's their normal mode.

Can anyone tell me if Melo or KP did a better job on Blake? Would that be considered Melo playing defense? Just checking

Good point. I guess that we seemed so much more committed to playing tough, tenacious defense three years ago and we've completely lost any semblance of that mentality.

Yeah, Willy is more a traditional lane filling big. I think Rose understands how to find guys like that better. The KP comfort might come in time... though I doubt they'll play long enough for that to happen.

My biggest hope is that we get a real playmaking PG in the draft and they stick around long enough to learn KP's and Willy's spots and gain some comfort and chemistry.

Rose used to work a PnP with Gasol all the time. He just has to decide to do the same with KP.
