What ticks me off is Melo was getting killed in the media for not taking less money to go to Chicago. He was portrayed as just being about the money, not interested in winning. KD does the opposite and he's getting killed by the same media for jumping to the team with the best chance of winning.
Melo would've been killed either way, too, I think. Same way Bron gets killed no matter what he does.

The old NBA had issues were players such as Magic Johnson OR Zeke Thomas got coaches fired Or
players traded (e.g. Adrian Dantley pistons) to WIN.
However any deals back in the day were players of skilled lesser superstar talent, as in case
Adrian Dantley from Pistons to Mavs for Mark Acguire, piece to help Detroit 3 appearances in finals & 2 NBA rings.
Today you got WHOLE NBA world of stars, Durant, LBJ, CP3, ect all pushing where they play with OTHER big stars.
This kinda LESSENs the NBA game competively and ruins competition. The Warriors did it right with drafts (Steph, Klay, Greene)
