Fisher does not deserve any praise for tonight's game, this is the first time all season he has motivated his team to come out and compete for 48 minutes. I want to see a lot more of that. The rotation was somewhat better tonight
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Let's not get carried away here.

Obviously he's not Chris Paul - though I have noticed that tactic from Melo in some of their better wins this season. He sits back and facilitates. If KP or Afflalo or Lance is hot (which doesn't happen that often!), Melo will facilitate. If they aren't, he goes into Melo mode. You can see the shift - he still has a ways to go - but it's a start.

absolutely agree. Melo was constantly looking for the hot hand and he realizes that me-buckets are stupid.

Love the way he is playing.

the same bonehead posts showed up when JR hit a billion 3's in a game and couldn't miss. Yay for him. That proved that he was a great player.

It proved that we need the scorer, we just got offseason to score, to score. Not to pass like you fat guys that sit on a couch want everyone to play like. Because that was probably your best attribute as a player 40 years ago. Did you wear a head band and tight ahorts? Wait bad thought, i dont want to know. Let me guess, you hate the way Curry and Klay T play?

well said ... brilliant

Too presumptuous? Sorry, way off. You probably never played organized ball. Just read about it a lot. And no, bench riding in Catholic High School in the 60's would not qualify for organized ball.

Great win and great response after a bad loss and being called out by their coach.

No, I get where you are coming from. Melo has continued to do a good job passing despite mix results from his teammates being able to capitalize on his passes. I like that he is taking advantage of the entire court too and he has really started to pass quickly out of the post.

I think he could have had well over double digit assists tonight which is a good sign. I would like to see his ast attempts over 12 each game.

Just to put in perspective how utterly atrocious we were last season, we are 1 win away from tying our win total and there's 4 months left in the season.

Despite all the issues the Knicks are still within striking distance of the playoffs. It's progress to reach 16 wins after only 17 all of last year. The defense held the Hawks to under 100 while they scored 111.

The was definitely a good win. Still an uphill climb, may need more of this solid performance going forward.

we could have won 30 games last season if melo was healthy and playing like this melo. At least 25.

Playing better in PnR offense.

Good game. HOWEVER we have seen this story before. Knicks will win a big game then follow it with 3 or 4 Stinkers. They need a nice winning streak

Knicks are facing a really tough schedule. This was a very important win. Now on Tuesday they will probably add a player or 2 and hopefully that can give the team a boost.
