Seraphin and Amundson looked absolutely horrible. I know they haven't played in a while, but YEESH MAN.

Smart call no?
We got the Bulls tommorow

Worked perfectly.

No starter played in the 4th...bench did enough to allow this.

Do you think that NBA teams look at their schedule and circle the games against the Sixers and scream out..."EASY WIN!!!!"

I'm glad KOQ got out of his funk and passed him in the rotation.

The bench squad s playing really well right now. I think Sasha is playing better than Grant but if grant can get back to where he was and improve on that the Knicks have a great rotation. I thought Rolo played well tonight. Afflao, KP, and Melo have been great.

Some day may be compared to 2003 draft.

That's the year we scored BIG w mike sweetney

And Lampe. I was blown away that Lampe was there in the second round. I thought the Knicks would grab him with the Sweetney pick. The Knicks also scored Vranes? In that draft. I thought it was a great draft that night.

Totally forgot about that. Lampe was the polish guy. Had big expectations for him

I was saying in jest bc there were so many studs in that draft and we chose Sweetney. Honestly I don't even remember him in a game. He was like the Knicks version of Potsie from Happy days

Lampe's thudding failure of an NBA career was part of the reason it was hard for me to get excited for KP.

A disgrace.

Someone also questioned the job Brown has done earlier in this thread...

Brown got the extension, but for a guy who came from SA, you don't exactly see their kind of mentality on the floor, or the kind of players he would have been used to. I'm talking less about results...more about an attitude toward the game.

Say what you want about Fisher, and some cursed him last year for winning games when we should have been losing- but the guys we had out there played hard, despite the talent gap...and that told you a lot about the players we had out there and Fisher.

Hinkie always has to be brought up, though. A cook can't make good food without rotten ingredients, and this Sixer lineup is a complete joke.

If more than 50% of these guys are back, I'll be stunned.

I was stoked about KP but probably because I forgot about marcej (sp?) lampe.

How could the Knicks be soooo wrong about sweetney. What could they see? At best he was a super fat oakley

I have to think Afflalo believed that he would thrive in this offense.

I remember now. Supposedly he lasted that long bc it wasn't sure he would leave EP

Do you look at his skills as a player...or what was inside his skull.

Who would have thought he was as psychologically fragile as he turned out to be?

People were sort of down on the signing, but I was really psyched about it. I was bummed when Portland got him in a trade last year - I was like "that's the exact type of SG we need"... he's a really good fit here. We really need to take advantage of his effectiveness in the post late game.

Hi kei forgets these guys are hyper competitive athletes. You will break their confidence and will wi5h enough loses. Plus they start worrying about their stats rather than wills to pad their resume for the next gig

They need to clean house.

Seems to be a perfect system for him.

Goes against Butler tomorrow, though...right?

Should be interesting.

Good question. The best scouts have an ability to judge the man and see if he will grow And compete against the best. Some guys if they can't dominate like they did in HS or college just fold, others continue to fight and seek to improve

Brown has to wear a lot of hats. He has no vets other than Landry who is hurt. I believe everyone else is 25 or under (maybe 26). Brown has said it would be nice to have a vet in the locker room but that he has to be that presence. He also is the face of the franchise in the press because Hinkie doesn't meet with the media. I know he is very respected. I heard Bobby Marks on Fox sports a few weeks ago talking about how he was worried that Brown's development as a coach would be stunted by coaching a team that just keeps losing.

Despite his play, when you looked at OK4 when there was a break of some sort, he did not look happy. He has confidence, but you wonder about how much he is willing to give the team with some of the guys he has to play with.
