John Wall just learned and still learning how to use his speed to create for others. He's just learning how to change gears.....and Walls is a NBA vet now.

Mudiay already has that change of speed game.....Which is key (take it from me since I have a similar change of speed game, which is why my achilles are shot). But with this type of game, you don't have to be fast like John Wall......a good example is Jason Kidd......Kyrie.....They know how to change up their speeds and keep defenders off balance.....Mudiay does this naturally, but uses it to set up players! He will use it more in the NBA to set up for himself also. That balance is what will make him an elite player.

Oh, that jumper will be solid in 3 years. But he can do so many other things with the ball, it's not that critical right now. But it will improve. He looks like the type that wants to be an elite player. And he has a great starting base, with maturity to go with it. All in a 19yr old package. When he's Stein and Kaminsky's age.....He will be an NBA star. Along with Towns and Russell.

I would throw Okafor in there too, who I happen to think is a can't miss talent.

Yeah, I'm back to thinking this is a four player deep draft. We'll get one of Mudiay or Okafor, I think, which is not remotely bad. It's stressful and maddening because we can't choose which one it'll be, but we will get a shot at one of the top 4.

Imagine the madness if Okafor goes #1 overall to Minnesota. Man, this draft is gonna be insane.

Whatever happens the Knicks need to have multiple plans of action. This thing could change up quickly and I'm sure that all kinds of scenarios will come up and they have to be ready to pounce on any opportunity that presents itself. This is a good draft and if they get lucky it could fall just right for the Knicks. A very good player should be in play at 4 and I'm sure trades wi be offered to the Knicks as well.

I think Briggs would pay a lot of money to be at this thing... he's talked about some of these guys.

I like the format. Better than one guy at a time and no frame of reference.

Kevon Looney is coming in along with Kaminsky and WCS this week. Kaminsky I think is today and WCS I believe is Tuesday, with Looney coming in on Thursday. Stanley Johnson coming in on Friday. This is a good week

Kinda annoyed how the Knicks didn't give Jerian Grant a try.

I just saw that C.Payne canceled his workout with the Knicks. Does anyone know why or has anyone heard anything about it?? I'm a big fan and really wanted him if we traded down some.

Still have plenty of time to bring him in and the Knicks have been trying to be real secretiveabout their workouts.

I hope they do bring him in.Fantastic talent, elite athleticism, and a high IQ player. If he hadn't regressed in his 3 point shooting this season, then he would have been a no brainer top 5 pick.

Did he cancel it, or did we make it known we didn't want to work him out.

Would it mean that we are going to take Mudiay and don't need to look at Payne?

Has Phil decided not to trade down from 4, and since Payne will go before any pick we might buy, its not worth the time to work him out?

Well I don't know the answer to any of those questions but I don't see Phil settling on taking Mudiay at this point cause I think he's open to almost everything as in trades and still think he has many players he likes but again I have no idea but I am a big fan of Payne and hope he's still an option in any trade down scenario.

He's a ballzy little PG. You know he's watching the finals and thinking he could have saved the Cavs and helped James if he was on Cleveland.

I'm starting to think Phil isn't going to trade down. I think he's just going to try and make a deal to grab another pick. There seem to be some options out there for him to get another pick.

Saw on rotoworld that he hurt his wrist in his workout for the Nuggets so i guess that might have something to do with why he canceled his workout with us.

He's obviously wanting another pick whether it be late 1st or early 2nd so maybe if he can get one without trading down with the 4th pick he'll go that route and if he can't then he'll see if he can get multiple picks for the 4th pick?? It sure would be nice to see Phil come away with a great trade in this draft to show all the haters he knows what he's doing. I'm nervous as heck about him screwing this up just cause he doesn't have the time as a GM like the others he'll have to negoatiate with but i'm hoping/praying we come out of this draft winners.

Mudiay worked out for the Sixers and Russell is up next on Wednesday.

As the Philadelphia 76ers weigh what to do with the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft, they continue to work out elite prospects.

Emmanuel Mudiay worked out for the Sixers on Tuesday after meeting on Monday with team officials.

The team will also work out Ohio State guard D’Angelo Russell on Wednesday, sources confirmed to SNY.tv after it was first reported by Mike Scotto of SheridanHoops.com. Russell cancelled a workout with the Sixers last Friday.

“[Mudiay] looked good,” one source said. “Very, very athletic and strong. Good finisher with either hand.”

The 6-foot-5 Mudiay has already worked out for the Lakers and Knicks, who pick at No. 2 and 4, respectively.

“Emmanuel Mudiay is going to make everyone on his team better,” Larry Brown, the former Knicks and Sixers and current SMU coach, told The 4 Quarters Podcast.

As for the 6-5 Russell, DraftExpress.com has him going No. 4 to the Knicks, but many observers believe he could be gone by the time they pick.

Russell has already impressed former UCLA star Don MacLean, who is training Russell, Karl-Anthony Towns, Willie Cauley-Stein and others in L.A.

“He’s very smart,” MacLean told SNY.tv. “He asks me questions that no guys have ever asked me when we’re taking about why we’re doing something. Guys just normally go through the workout but he wants to know why.

“Based on his size and his length and his understanding of the game, he’s going to be really, really good. People knock him defensively but he’s better than most people think. We’ve already done a lot of live stuff with him and Devin [Booker] and he guards better than people think.”

Still, MacLean thinks the two big guys — Towns and Jahlil Okafor — are more likely to go 1-2 with Russell slotting in somewhere after that.

“If the question is, is D’Angelo talented enough to go ahead of one of those guys, I think he’s talented enough but you just don’t see guys as good as Towns and Okafor every year,” MacLean said. “So as good as D’Angelo Russell is, I don’t think it supersedes good bigs.”

I like Lyles but he is in my mind a 3rd big off the bench on a team. Similar to how Diaw is for the Spurs and how Taj is for Chicago. That video was pathetic though.
