I don't think that is fair. I really thought the armed forces policy of dont ask dont tell was the smartest way to deal with this issue. Wait until you are more mature as a a person--you're live is fluid and you're in a position to be able to say this is who I am. This man used a woman for 8 years living his lie--this goes untold --but he used her to hide out. He couldve easily lived a don't ask dont tell lifestyle and left her alone. But he chose to use her and today he is the hero? I don't think a really small majority should be able to change a system that is certainly not broken. A young guy who listens to this and comes out may have a much different *response* to coming out at the wrong time.

I don't imagine it's much different than what the bulls experienced with Rodman or what some Lakers players dealt with when there was a possibility their star player may have been a convicted rapist. Locker rooms are filled with all different types of people and, if they want to win, they acknowledge those differences and go to work. I don't think Charlie Ward was thrilled with the way Spree lived his life, but that didn't affect the way played. As far as Collins being on the d-lo, that's a discussion he has to have with whatever he sees as his higher power. Jason Kidd was caught cheating. Do most people care? No, just like most fans probably don't care that Collins had a beard. Moreso because Collins is kinda trash in the court. But still, I guarantee you few people will lose sleep over this.

I do have queer folks near and dear to me though, and I'm not sure your respect is worth much. How would me being gay that change all the double talk about azz whoopings and driving a gay player away from your pickup game jive with you loving everyone and not caring about a person's sexuality? I'm 100% wrong about you? I think I'm batting .1000...

I bet you are Batting 1000.

I'm sorry but I'm not your type. Go bat somebody else's 1000.

I don't believe a marriage is between a man and a man or a woman and a woman either--thats not how God intended life to be.

Is there anybody that refutes Briggs comment here ?

yes.. please prove this is gods will. I guess god created the world AND invented marriage. Good stuff (garbage)

Weird that god is so hung up on genitals- is it like an OCD thing where everything has to be done 'the right way'?

Funny that we have to have pronouncements about what Jason Collins does with his genitals. That those of that "persuasion" feel the need to announce it. And have parades. But please, don't label them. Just accept their pronouncements and moral decisions and move along.

Funny that God would be hung up on morality. That silly diety, don't he know that's none of his business?
