Next up, LA Clippers, possibly with no K-Mart, Tyson, Amar'e, Melo or Sheed...

Wife asked me while I was watching the game, "why are you putting yourself thru this?" And then turn the channel.

Yeah the Mrs. is crazy about me, although she hurt my fellings the other day during the Nuggets game when she said, "hey, aren't those the same guys the Knicks traded away to get Melo?" That's when I changed the channel! HaHahaha!!!

Felton isn't what you really call young....28 soon to be 29 in a few months. He's younger than Prigs and Brontosaurus but that's not saying much.

ONCE AGAIN this summer....

28 is a normal players prime! Usually they're at their peak in terms of strength and BB wisdom. The idea that he's old makes no sense. Michael Jordan won his 1st title at 28, so clearly that's not an age you expect a player to have fallen off. So long as he's not dealing with some chronic issue like Amar'e, which is just bad genes. Oden, Brandon Roy, Allan Houston etc. are just unfortunate.

+1. Felton is old has been mentioned by several posters. Not sure when 28 became old,

It's old for Felton because he's not a guy that will work to stay in peak shape, so once the natural athleticism (not that there is much of it) of his youth dissipates, he's gonna rapidly age,

Doubt Felton will be in the league past age 31

Dude I don't care what ideal Prime is. Just because Kidd is playing at the age of 50 does not mean 28 "IS YOUNG"...He'll be 29 in June he is not getting better, sorry he's consider more old/experienced than young. He's been almost a near dreadful signing.

But that's what we do, we always compare to the worst extreme, to make the situation seem and/or appear better.

Take for instance if we were to trade Melo for Deron would everyone feel they were getting A YOUNG point guard in return...No you wouldn't.

Felton wasn't drafted out of high school and he wasn't a one and done. He played three years of college ball before he went pro. He is in what should be his professional prime. He is younger than Chris Copeland.
