Yeah. It amazes me that there is a thread right now that is focusing on his lower assist numbers this year. Not sure what else the guy can do.

Carmelo could blow fun bubbles at the garden from a plastic blow stem and every single bubble that would produce itself would find it's way to the basket and they would not burst before they found their way there.

mr 5-19 would certainly be a valuable addition to this game.

The element that he brings to the game is severely missed. No one is getting into the teeth of defense sans Melo's post ups. Felton breaks the defense down and forces them to rotate which opens up the floor for others...

Its not hard to understand that his penetration sets up the offense. Even his misses sometimes sets up offensive rebounds. Not always but Chandler's man leaves to help sometimes.

So this team is in such dire need that we need a PG who is/was 10th in the league in shot attempts, is shooting 39 pct and has a TS of 47?

Oh ... and plays sh1tty defense?

We are certainly playoff ready.

You know what I noticed, the rest of the team panders the offense to Melo And JR . This is why the rest of our guys aren't on fluid offense. Melo is unguardable, but him on the court should make the rest of our team better with guys moving without the ball. Even Brewer got a driving layup on ball movement. We won't beat top defensive teams with this mindset. Woody has to give the guys courage to look off Melo and JR sometimes in favor of ball movement to the open man like back doors. When ever we play well the ball moves and everybody is included in the offense. This is starting to bother me. Prigioni doesn't even run the offense , he just gives the ball to JR and he runs to the corner.
