Find where I even talk about Melo in a negative light. You can't, Im not a Melo hater.

You also said the Nyets laugh at the Knicks and the Clippers and even the Wizards before they went 0 for 12.

Come to think of it you say alot of things for other teams. You play that fence all the live long day.

Nah, the problem is with the homers pumping up their own team/players, and if anybody dislikes anything about another team they are praying to mooby right. That is actually the reasonable position on the Knicks forum?!!

Two legs good, four legs bad.

I talk about Clipps. Wiz I said with vets they'd would no longer be a pushover. Nene and John wall were out, Wall still out.

NEver even came close to discussing any team, even the nets as some are DRONING on and on about the rockets, Lakers or Denver!

Seems we talk hoop and other teams do play in the NBA.

We not talking up a home team player, Mooby's are going to great effort to discredit those who did not promote Melo's play to defend the faith.

Mooby is Love!

Nene played against the Knicks. Not sure if you were referencing the Knicks game in particular.

"Wall still out" Kinda references that Nene has been active.

We talking preseasons.

I really don't keep tabs of most posters positions. TKF is obvious.

I don't expect for most to remember what we discussed two months ago.

Nash still can't run without feeling pain. They said next week at the earliest but that seems very optimistic if Nash is still hurting. If for some reason he was out for most of the season all hell will break loose in LA. Nice seeing another team become drama central for a change.

They're going to be extra pissed now going into Thursday's game. Between that and the Knicks blowing them out opening night, their panties will be extra tight

Me and my son were just talking about how much better it is that for once it's not the Knicks who are the dysfunctional team blowing leads and having drama. Tho the media will keep trying to find something to write about the Knicks. They can't wait for STAT to come back and hope that something goes wrong so they can write negative stories again.

Wow!

what exactly doe Homers stand to gain from this? IS melo up for sainthood? Vetting for a seat on the Supreme court?

You guys are that desporate for a hero?

Interesting take about MDA alienating players. Though IMO I don't think he alienated Melo. I think MDA and Melo failures had more to do with the supporting cast around Melo within MDA's sytem then anything else. If you swapped some pieces around even if the talent level stayed the same they would have had way more success. The same thing they are going to do when they trade Gasol. Gasol would be an ideal PNR big man for MDA in reality and would probably be putting up allstar numbers if put in that role. But since they have Howard he has to be turned into a stretch 4 and is struggling mightly.

But for the 5th time now, this thread wasn't made for MDA. It was made to compare the star players when put in similar situations. This thread was made to dicuss why players who are accepted as a level above a guy like Melo are failing miserably exposing there sins when in a similar situation. Star players who have won championships or carried there team to the finals. While Melo is now viewed as an MVP candidate with a roster and coach better set up for him. The names can change but the principal would still be the same.

Everyone has there sins which is why calling out one person sins and making that the reason why things fell apart never works. It takes a collection of blessings for success and a collection of sins to fail in team sports.

it is absolutely amazing.... i have never seen a fan base root for the failure of 5 players and a coach to validate and hero worship one guy..... I thought if you like someone, you like them and didn't need others to fail to justify why you like them....

This thread isn't about rooting for players to fail or giving anyone praise.

At the same time you seem quick to create a scapegoat for a teams failures, but get upset when they recieve praise.

HOw many games has MDA been coach? HOw many practices? They on 3rd string PG? How long howard been back and shaking rust? Is Pau right? Can he handle the running? If he is not the franchise player then what is management doing?

They did not have 2 starters. Pau and nash.

Kobe did not finish. Howard did not finish.

Team game.

Dont see the point of arguing over D'Antoni.

Dude has already been exposed and will continue to exposed in LA.

Lol at Kobe taking 31 shots. Guarantee D'Antoni doesnt say a dam thing to Kobe or Howard. Both are proven coach killers.

(Picks up mic)Mike Danphoney was hired for the same reason the Knicks hired him.

His system is used to transition a team on the verge of re-vamping it's roster while trying to be relevant.

HE ALONE BECOMES THE SCAPE GOAT WHEN THINGS DON'T WORK BUT GETS PAID WELL FOR IT.

Lakers GM and owner get a pass while steering the team back into the right direction.

Danphoney's system of shoot 1st and ask questions later eventually brings along internal squabbles. Danphoney's novelty will eventually wear off and his dismissal soon follows.(Drops mic)

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

While these are fair observations and questions. They still shouldn't be losing to teams like the Kings or Magic.

Yeah, I think his biggest problem is job selection skills.
