Did you see that half assed screen amar'e set on the last highlight? Thats what really stuck out to me.

STAT is a funny dude, but we need him He makes so many brain dead plays. It's easy to see why The Suns and Knicks last year were so bad on D with him in the middle.

I wish someone taught how to play defense when he started his career. Now its too late

they have to let the heat just run down the court or the refs will call a foul.

meanwhile, the knicks are getting brutalized and not getting calls.

league wants the heat in the finals. the knicks have no chance. 8 on 5 all series.

knicks shoulda tanked for bulls, as icky as that sounds.

The refs are acting as if they even dare blow the whistle against the Heat they will die a thousand deaths and their wives will be cursed with everlasting pms. Their agenda is clear.

Even if the Heat are fouling right in front of the referees, even if the heat believe it will give them an advantage, the refs are not to blow that whistle.

The Knicks dare squint their eyes in the wrong fashion and whoa nelly, look out below here comes the zebra stampede!

Knicks just not playing at the same level. Period. Not running nearly as hard back. Not fouling hard. Not attacking hard. Not nearly enough.

And whose fault is this?

We're just not good enough and it has nothing to do with Lin and Shump and everything to do with Amar'e and coaching. I feel if Amar'e was tradeable we'd be in a much better place. Also we need Phil Jackson badly. Or some legitimate top level coach. Woodson is simply mediocre, especially come playoff time.

Carmelo also is showing why he'll always be in the second level of superstars, like Tracy McGrady. Great player but simply doesn't know what it takes to take it to the next level and will your team through the playoffs. This is why he's been eliminated in the first round 7 of the 8 years he's been in the playoffs. I like Carmelo Anthony and people can lambast me all they want but this is the hard truth. Unless this guy comes out the half and turns it up a notch and turns his level of play up a notch for this entire series then my opinion will remain. Amar'e, he's another story. He just has been a failure in pairing with Melo. Disappears too easily.

So the only issue with Amare is "his ill pairing with Melo" Okaaaaaay ....

17 pts 5 boards on 50 pct shooting I guess is kinda weak - yeah I hear ya buddy!

You're not serious are you? If Amar'e set an effective screen and rolled correctly, he'd be inserting himself into the plays but when you half ass things you disappear in the offense.

I agreed with you until the Melo part. I think its too early to put him in that category. He showed up last year in the first round in my opinion, it wasn't enough to get us a win but I think he showed that there is still potential there.

I'm sick of Amar'e and I'm ready to get rid of him. Why? because it all comes down to effort and I don't think he gives enough of it, especially not $100 million dollars worth.

No excuse for not playing D when you've been a pro for 9 years and you've had TONS of defensive assistant coaches, fellow teammates to show you what to do. Dude just doesn't play hard. Did you know that the reason MDA and STAT had issues in PHX was over STAT not playing D???

Agree 250%. Plus, bad defense has always surrounded his name, if you had any type of pride in your game you'd work hard to get rid of that stigma.
