Cheers to those who predicted the Knicks would finish 36-30. I had them at 45-21 which they might've achieved had Woodson taken over sooner before Dantoni sabotaged the season

I would love to beat the Heat and the Celtics. Most hated opponents for me are the Heat, Bulls and Celtics. I love when the Knicks beat them. I hate Riley. I hate what happened in 97 and I still think the Knicks would have gone to the finals that year. I can't stand the big three. I can't wait to see Shump d-up on Wade and Melo punk LBJ.

That's good rather play Indy in the 2nd rd then Boston. Rather play Atlanta but they won't get past Boston. I will root for a win tomorrow. 7th seed it is Bring on the Heat!!

horrible and boring game. winning is never too bad, but damn that game was ugly and had no flow. bad refs mainly. clips seemed pretty disinterested considering they were playing for home court in the first round.

amar'e looks really bad on defense and i agree with those who say that tyson and melo and amar'e don't work on the floor together. amar'e draws his man over to the action in the paint far too often instead of spreading the floor. and he's just atrocious on defense.

that said, i think amar'e is needed if they have a remote chance of beating miami.

Watching the highlights I'd rather watch Amare's version of atrocious D than Blake's. Amare: 1 BA, 1 BS. <---that's at least something.

Love Griffin's O, but I mean, is he made of celophane or something? I didn't see him even attempt to stop, scare or even fake going for a block.

On Amare's dunk on the Melo dime he didn't even bother to touch Stat as he drove right by him in the lane uncontested.

Is it the coaching?

It reminds me of the way the Giants played the pats in that final meaningless regular season game. And we all know how that fairy tale ended.

+1. It is just like the 2007 Giants. We need to go in with momentum, not sap it by resting our starters. And certainly not "try" to slide to eighth seed to play the Bulls. We play whomever we are seeded to play and try to beat them. This is the playoffs, and we aren't going in as patsies.

Let's do this right!

Can we ask Woodson to ask Fields, Harrelson, Douglas to shoot 20 3-pointers each and the guy with the best percentage above 30% gets at least 20 minutes in game 1.....

And then tell our centers and forwards they can take only hooks or jump hooks and Novak can only take fadeaway jumpshots

Should be entertaining at least

TD will not see the light of day during the playoffs unless one of our other PGs get injured. He is far too unreliable.

Jorts may get a few minutes here and there to dish fouls.

Playoff almost always have an abbreviated rotation. Best dudes give us the best chance for a win.
