Dantoni has loyalty to players that just aren't working.
He continues to put them in praying they will make it work.

We needed a spark when our 1st and 2nd unit just weren't getting it done.
Iman would be able to penetrate with Lin because Lin will earn him that step and break the defense down.

Instead he plays TD, Bibby, Walker, instead of Lin and Novak for Walker.

When JJ wasn't getting it done, he doesn't use Jerome Jordan even though JJ was having back spasms.
This is the same thing that happened to Darko 2.0 with the guard situation we have.

TD and Bibby cannot create and you put them in with JJ.
What do you expect?

Okay he is a good passer but I am asking is he a pass first point guard? If so please tell me when. I have always seen Davis as score first. Yes he can pass but his tendency is to find his own shot. As Barkley said it you don't change who you are in your 9th or 10th season. I think some of you guys are depending on Baron to be this Chris Paul pass first point guard and will quickly learn he is still a score first.

nah. i think baron makes a difference. i just hope d'antoni isn't here to F it up. can we fire the dude tonight? seriously. FIRE THE GUY TONIGHT.

LOL Baron has the same tendencies as this team does. Finds his own shot most of the time and settles for 3 pointers... Or did you forget? I must have cause last time I watched Baron Davis he wasn't a pass first point guard... Am I lying?

he's a good passer. i have faith in baron. for some reason. no faith left in d'antoni though.

I like baron but he is not gonna make erase all the **** we have seen the first 18 games

Good thing they won last night, I'm not sure my heart could take that much crushing disappointment in 48 hours.

Knicks are just a chicken running around with its head cut off. Wake me up when Baron gets here.

Blah, blah, blah.

I can't wait to hear the spin doctor after Antoni gets canned.

No! I just happen to know BB! I actually have the SSOL playbook and I know what the plays are supposed to look like! None of our guards are actually running the sets right! Shump was asleep at the wheel and missing wide open passes for easy scores! TD was setting up further and further out on the floor or driving with no plan and forcing shots. The passing and ball movement comes to a stop when your PG's do this.

you said it well, but you fail to point out we still have one more PG that he didn't give a shot.
He actually is the quickest and fastest one, with the ability to penetrate, and probably the best facilitator among those 3.

Jerome Jordan should get some minutes over JJ.

Novak should get some minutes over Bill Walker.

This is BS, the way Dantoni does not give a shot to his bench when the first 2units aren't brining it.

SO WHAT IF THEY DONT PERFORM... YOU SEND A MESSAGE to them to tell them that they are playing like SH!%$

I'm offended that u need to insult our intelligence for our opinions. How is it that every roster we have underachieves. It's obvious he has had the talent. Look at all the Ex-Knicks succeeding and playing much better without him. Gallo, Crawford, Lee, Nate, Chandler, Zach..the list goes on. He's had enough talent to not see all these offensive and defensive lapses team after team.

If he needs a PG to succeed fine. Then you adjust til your PG gets healthy some how to play better. What's his excuse to not adjusting during the game to situations. Timeouts to stop flow? Changing your sub patterns according to games. I watch so many games of other teams and always see other coaches get their starters back in quicker if the subs are stinking it up. How can you go 6 minutes without scoring and not call one timeout? what does that have to do with not having a PG?

What do random double teams leaving good 3 point shooters open have to do with a PG?

This all can't be coincidence. It comes from no discipline from the head honcho aka THE COACH!!

Where is Bibby?

Good to see at least one person watched the same game I did.

Anything short of Chris Paul type of Pass first play is not going to make a major difference. Everyone here is expecting too much from Baron Davis. He injured himself during the offseason hasn't played a game Ball and is not half the player he was. He isn't any different than any other former star we have brought in the last few years.(Penny,McGrady,Francis)

instead he puts the same unit time after time, and they repeat the same mistakes, this is not acceptable...

You're on the money man. I mean even when baron davis was in his prime he was never nash or paul. Now he is older and coming off a back injury and now he has pressure to turn a team into a contender

Think there are a lot of misconceptions of Baron davis's game. Look up his assist numbers. He passes at a high clip and seems to enjoy passing. In my opinion he is a pass first PG with the ability to score. His tendency is to dribble and probe the defense and shoot if his options are covered. He is a "VERY SMART" player.

lol Seriously. They want to blame it on PG play... okay cool. What about the retarded defense? Poorly timed timeout's ? Letting the team play like high schoolers. Lack of discipline. All on MDA not the pointguard.
