I was thinking the same until I noticed that Amare only had 17 points 3 minutes into the 4th quarter. MDA was trying to get Amare's numbers up.
WOW. The fact that I buy this 100 percent is effing ridiculous... Pringles is nuts
It seemed to me that Amar'e was having fun and wanted to be out there. Amar'e wasn't going hard from what I saw. 36 minutes taking it easy isn't really gonna stress STAT at all. It's not like he was banging all night with Howard.
Then--THAT'S EVEN WORSE. Going at half or three-quarter speed is EXACTLY how injuries happen. You don't take a racecar on a Sunday drive around the block
That cliche is really about playing football. PLENTY of NBA players go half speed and don't get hurt. In fact it's quite the contrary. If you go hard like DWade you can get hurt flying thru the air like that. taking it easy isn't gonna get you hurt in the NBA.
your absolutely nuts if you think half assing it when everyone else is busting theirs doesn't increase the likelihood of injury. It holds true in football; it holds true in baseball; it holds true in basketball; it holds true in dodgeball. You practice one way, which is not the la-tee-da way.
