I don't think Dolan will ever get his head out of his ass...

I feel bad for Donnie and D'Antoni

and suffering Knick fans

Knicks have a devastating 1-2 scoring punch with 'Melo and Amar'e and will be a fun, dangerous team in playoffs. Again, Nets couldn't close.

So what's left?

Gasllo, Ill Will, Curry, AR, 1st rounder, 2 seconds for Melo and Anthony Carter?

That sucks whatever way you look at it.

But we're getting Balkman. Don't forget that.

The cherry on top.

Yeah baby huey just got his popped alright.

If we let Donnie handle this trade and not that jackass Dolan we would've given up less.
None of this would be possible if it were'nt for Donnie Walsh. What's amazing is that he could win excutive of the year and not have his option picked up. This owner makes me want to walk away from this franchise and root for Gallo & Mozgov when they are traded to the Nets.

Now that I've vented, let's figure out what's left. We need a Center bad!

What do we have left to trade?
Azubuike's insured expiring contract & Bill Walker may get us a decent big man.

A Chris Kaman with a year left on his contract could be an option.

Balkman sucks, by the way.

I feel sick about how this trade played out. Feels panicky and like we were the suckers.
That said, 4 of our starting 5 are very good, including Billups who is for me a slight upgrade from Felton. Essentially a wash. Both are out after next year when hopefully we pursue D. Williams.

Not that Mosgov was a dealbreaker, but did we really need to throw him in?? Was the deal really not happening if not? I have trouble believing that we couldn't have made a better deal and still gotten Carmelo. Need size now!!

Terrible trade. I agree with BRIGGS, we got raped up the arse. I am interested in seeing if there are any other moves from Donnie before Thursday. There was no reason to consummate this deal tonight unless other deals were hinging on it. I hope somehow we are landing Sammy D. or Telfair.

I just can't believe Minny didn't have to give something up to get Curry and AR. Makes no sense.

I was on team Melo, but I would not have given this much. I really thought we'd keep Moz and maybe be the ones getting a second rounder or two back. We'll have to see what else Isiah (I mean Donnie) can do. I gotta figure we've got a good line on CP3 somehow or other, but if Isiah/Dolan are in charge all bets are off.

ChrisMannixSI Dolan could take a wrecking ball to this process by allowing Donnie to leave. But Melo/Amar'e w/Fields and Donnie's smarts is a good mix.

At first I was really ticked off at the fact we gave away Mozgov. Like, that was the last straw.

But seriously, I'm just glad we no longer have to wince at the sight of Blake dunking on Gallo/Mozgov... they're no longer Knicks.

Not sure who guards the rim now. I'm still unclear of bits of the deal. Where's Randolph and Curry at this time? Anyone think Walsh isn't done yet?

The royalty perhaps.

Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."
