Amar'e is wearing a suit and tie. Not your cup of tea?

i think he needs to pick out nicer ties... that puke green pokadot joint was offensive, but at least he had a nice suit & shirt combo.

WHEN HE'S NOT IT BECOMES A LONG SEASON

I think we are a better team when either Chandler or Gallo is playing the role of 2nd option well. When both are off, the games become ugly. When either one is on, along with Amar'e, they seem to be good.

Though the San Antonio win, IMHO their best win of the season, came with Wilson rocking it and Gallo out, so maybe you are right.

Gallo had 8 rebs and 7 pts on 5 shots. I thought he did a good job on the boards in the 4th.

i liked his defense in the 2nd half, but offensively he was MIA... seems like him & Wilson have a problem putting up #'s in the same game even w/Amare out.

This game reminded me of when Chandler came off the bench exclusively as the 6th man, early in the season, and played in lineups that didn't include Amar'e. What we saw then, and what we saw tonight, was just a more assertive Chandler who took the ball into the paint. Other than rushing some shots once inside, he made a lot of good decisions with the ball.

When Chandler (or Gallo) play with Amar'e, they end up just playing the role of the spot-up 3-pt shooter and aren't nearly as involved in the offense.

Also, we benefited big time that the Nets absolutely suck on D. We had no star scorer, chucking a lot of 3-pt shots, and yet they still switched and doubled at nearly every opportunity, usually leading to a lot of open shots. Brook Lopez sucks balls, glad that softie isn't a Knick.

Mozgov reminds me of that kid when you play in the playground who just never expects passes when you drive, and always bobbles the ball. He needs to always be ready for the pass.

Tonight Gallo was kind of a footnote. He wasn't bad but he was by no means good. Chandler returned to form and we looked not too shabby. When had our best stretch of play during the season when he was on his game and our worst when he wasn't. He's probably the gauge to look at on this team for this season in terms of how well we play and how bad we play.

I have just about given up on TD as PG. Dude plays with blinders on.

And for all of the talk that he is good on the defensive end, he'll get a steal once but miss on gambles on 3 other tries that lead to easy baskets for other team and 2 fouls on other plays. 1 steal and like 5 bad plays.

Sorry to say it, but that's what I see too. I thought the kid had turned a corner at one point. He was under control and making plays. I just don't think he's got the court vision or mentality to be a PG. I still wish we could've traded for Ridnour. He'd be a good back up.

As each month goes by I am less impressed with Felton too.

He puts up stats, has a 20/10 game every once in a while, but I expected more leadership and quality play for entire games.

I just don't see him making enough plays that get easy baskets for other players (sure, every once in a while he will have a fantastic PnR pass to Amare or whomever). His mental mistakes come too often too (sloppy passes to post player, repeatedly giving Amare the ball on the move 40 feet from basket, whipping passing in traffic that he has no business making, etc). I saw at least 3-4 big defensive mistakes during the New Jersey game, some of them coming in the second recovery play action (there is a switch and recover and Felton makes the first good move but doesn't give effort to get back to his man or comes off pick too slowly).

This could all be because he has an incompetent backup and the minutes are wearing on him, and he certainly is banged up and not complaining about that. Outside of the San Antonio huge win, I can't remember a game where Felton really pushed the ball for a whole game.

Felton has had about a good month or so where he was very good, but that's it. And he has become a siv lately, letting his guy get past him waaaayyyy too easily.

Gallo made plays. Good basketball players do lots of things. Take a charge, grab important rebounds in the 4th.

He shoots from the 3, dunks on breaks, Passes, rebounds, etc etc.

He is not a freaking all world. Thats Amare, thats Melo, and you need guys like Gallo that do these things. Good basketball players don't always make highlights but do the big things. Mozzy keeps the ball alive with his hight.

Team made a few nice big stops down the stretch.

It was not a pretty game, but in its first with out Amare team prevailed and gutted out a win.

Great teams start with good players.

Glad to see Chandler step up. I like the kid. I want him to get paid either here or wanted elseware. Good kid.

Our yoots are just fine trending better over the big picture. I like watching this group.

because chandler will take as many shots as amare will ..21 shots for chandler is ridiculous. he is just not good enough to be taking that many shots.. to me, it is like having al thorton or All harrington on your team( to a lesser extent) any player should be able to get 21 points on 20 shots.. to me, that just takes away from the team.. but whatever... not a fan of volume shooters...

8-21 for 21 points is returning to form? what kind of form? not one you want taking 21 shots.. we were lucky to be playing the nets.. they have been playing better, but they are still the nets..

TD seemed to have one of the better games tonight statistically. I hate how he gets beat up on in these forums.. but some think it is ok to hoist up 21 shots to get 21 points.. didn't see the game, but I will take you guys word for it until I watch it later, but jeez.. give TD a break.. haha

Did you even watch the game tkf or are you just going on your usual Chandler rants? He had one of his better games of the season, especially his drive and kickouts, and his defense. There's a reason he was +16 for the night.

Jefferson has a big mouth and a huge ego. I hated him as a net because he trash talked and won. Ican't remember but I think Jeff and Martin gave Zo a hard time after his kidney transplant when he became a net. I know Martin did give Zo a hard time and I just don't know how you give a guy like that a hard time after a kidney transplant.
