Quit harshing my Gallo is Looking Good Since He Got Back from His Injury buzz.

I realize that but now its time to take the next step and become more of a consistent player.

You can complain about his shot being off, but the guy took it to the basket tonight. 14-14 from the line. If only we had another player on this team (besides STAT) that drew fouls that consistently.

i think his 4 turnovers hurt us more than his poor shooting tonight... just didn't seem in synch all game long... i like the fact he got to the FT line that many times but he's gotta play smarter.

People are getting hung up on the record and I think we have to be realistic. What we look like now doesn't matter. What we end up with is what's most important. We'll have a lot of winnable games and some tough games the close out the rest of the season. We should expect this team to be at or above .500, which is exactly what most predicted. I'm mad that we've lost so many winnable games, but there's still a good shot to get it together. Plus we have the trade deadline to see if we can improve the team. No need to panic.

The Knicks have lost 16 of the last 26 games. These games are accumulating fast.

alarming to say the least... on the bright side we're still in the playoff picture, but on the realistic side we're pretty much a 1 & done team if we even make it unless we make a trade for Melo now.

I could live with one and done if they go the distance and put up a real fight. I don't expect the knicks to contend this year, even with Melo. They still would need to make some more changes.

No offense but we lose the majority of the time he makes them. Nothing good comes out of it.

Blobman is hereby removed as game thread maker by me.

I am making the next one.

we lost cause of points in the paint. 58-52 and this was with blake griffin playing a so so game....

absolutely inexplicable... might i add that we made our run in the 2nd half with mozgov on the bench... he finished with what looks like decent numbers but absolutely horrid on defense and on the boards. if it wasn't for LA totally ignoring him on offense and him getting easy dunks then he wouldn't have looked so hot.

he had a bunch of wide open dunks under the basket but he was leaving his man wide open on defense throughout the 1st half... i think him & D Jordan were having a contest of who could leave their man open the most

He can score a little around the basket when he's set up properly (even that's an adventure--he fumbles the damn ball way too much at times) or with that little soft jumper of his but the most important things we could use outta him--defense & rebounding--is where he falls way short in my book..He's a really hard guy to evaluate--sometimes his reaction/timing looks good (alley oops, offensive rebound dunks) but most of the time it looks terrible (he just doesn't pursue rebounds like you'd like to see, block shots like we need)..I think he actually plays too soft for a guy that big..I'd like him to play bigger, meaner, tougher..Hard to explain...Anyone feel me on this? He just looks way overmatched in the NBA..Even in his breakout performance against Detroit a few games back I still felt the same way..Dude just doesn't do it for me, sorry to say..On paper it looks like he could be a great compliment to Amar'e and make up for his shortcomings but that's not how it translates on the court..

his problem is that is that he just looks way too often which leads me to believe that he's lacks the instincts. deandre jordan goes up and grabs rebounds. blake griffin goes up and grab rebounds. mozgov let's the rebound come to him and i could have counted at least 3 instances where he could have gotten a board if he just stopped looking at it and went up and got it. amar'e has the same problem but we obviously do not have the option to sit him.

seriously if mozgov is going to do this then chandler needs to start again. he's absolutely useless.

if we got Melo i think we're a legitimate 2nd round team... IMO we could easily match up with a team like the Bulls, Hawks or Magic in the 1st round... i don't think we'd be on the Heat or Celtics' level w/o more moves, but we'd be a lot closer than we are now.

Moz is still learning but i agree if he wants to be a viable fulltime starter, he needs to learn how to box out & defend the paint... definitely does play soft for a guy his size, he needs to be more physical downlow... seems a bit timid when going after boards & bodying up on guys in the paint at times... i think it's obvious he's still experiencing some of that "afraid to make a mistake" syndrome when he's on the floor.

yeah, instead of making observations about the players that actually played in this game we should probably be arguing about more important stuff, like who's going to make the next game thread.

Your observations are usually insults and veiled threats. You're always angry and talking down to people. There's a reason you get into it numerous people here. Keep that talk to yourself.

Mozgov was not the reason we lost. I do not need to go into an observation for it. He wasn't the reason we lost. Perimeter defense was. We've sat here and discussed the fact that D'Antoni and his style will not win games. I do not believe wasting time discussing this after every loss is worthy of discussion. Nothing else needs to be said about this.

Sorry I didn't fill your need of "observation" by making a light-hearted remark instead of trashing a player. I don't play favorites with players. I call it like it is. And that really is how it is.

i thought Jordan looked just as clueless boxing out & defending the paint tonight as Mozgov did, they're both clearly young & still learning the game... what i like about Mozgov is that he's got more than just dunking ability in his offensive game, which is something Jordan has yet to develop... what i don't like about Mozgov is that he gets pushed around way too much for a guy his size.
