I remember Mike mentioning that Williams was looking good, but I guess he had some loyalty to Walker. Now it's clear that Williams fits what we're trying to do and I hope he has a bustout season. Between Fields and Williams we've got a couple of real big feel good stories. Congrats to DW for being in my book, GM of the year. He really did his thing this summer.

I think that's a good place to stay......

If we can win 4 of next 5 we should be in a good position going into our biggest stretch of the year!!

What do you guys think of Fields being out in the 4th and Williams being in? I think the coach wanted Williams offense. I doubt he was resting him as Stat and Felton were in the game.

I've been saying it 'til I got blue in the face -- DO NOT make a trade for some middle-of-the-road guy right now and deplete the assets...We may need those eventually for something BIG. A real difference maker...In the meantime, we can enhance the team and plug some holes w/o giving up anything --- say bye-bye to Mason Jr. & go get me either Dwayne Jones or Courtney Sims right now FOR NOTHING..Neither guy is a "project" -- they're both capable big men that have nothing left to prove in the NBDL. Slightly different players but either guy is ready to help an NBA club..Ink up a 10-day contract for either guy..Both 6'11" -- Jones, my preference, is more of a banger/dirty work guy (solid rebounder) & Sims has a little more finesse/offensive game. Whichever they prefer--10-day contract for either guy...I've been calling for this move for weeks but it's never too late..I don't know WTF they're waiting for, seriously..ALL REWARD, no risk..If either guy didn't work, who cares? We cut him in 10 days and go a different direction. And if either guy did pan out, we extend the contract for peanuts..Complete no-brainer...The beauty of it is upgrading the roster while keeping all assets intact..How on Earth can you beat that logic???

How 'bout Shawne Williams?? Smooth, heady and man can he shoot it..What an addition...Always knew he could play, it was just a question of whether or not he had his head screwed on straight. It finally looks like he has..Sometimes it takes guys getting pushed to the brink and thrown to the mat in life before they finally wake up and smell the coffee...About a year ago I recommended we S&T David Lee to Dallas for a package that included Josh Howard, Drew Gooden, Shawne Williams, the rights to 6'5" PG Nick Calathes and a first round pick and got laughed at for the idea...There may have been an issue with Gooden (he was a FA pickup for Dallas and I don't think he could've been traded at that particular time) but on talent alone, I still don't think that would've been a bad trade and I think Cuban would've been interested..Glad we acquired Williams anyway off the scrap heap the way we did. We got lucky - he's been great...Definitely earning his PT..That jumper of his is deadly!

Jerryd Bayless is a nice little player. Very talented..I mean you could see it his freshman year at Arizona..I even wanted him in the Gallinari draft..All he needed was a shot somewhere..Looks like he's finally gonna get that now with Toronto..Shawne Williams & Jerryd Bayless -- two examples of why you can never close the book on any guy that's buried & not getting a chance. AR comes to mind as well -- his time will come eventually, either here in NY or somewhere else.

Nice win today..You get the feeling the Knicks are finally maturing into a team that knows how to take care of business against teams they should beat, whether it be at home or on the road. Nice job..No letdown tomorrow against Minny..Must win -- we need to pay those guys back anyway.

Williams just hit another 3! lol he even hit that one that was at the end of the shot clock. Guy shoots with no effort. When Gallo shoots the 3 ball well his body does not move--now he is a tad herky jerky--he needs to go inside out to get a rhythm. Williams shoots so effortlessly that he can come in and shoot from 3--Gallo would be ebst suited to start with a nice 14 footer or drive to the basket.

wow, Calderon had a -25 +/-
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

What does it all mean? It means the Knicks are here. Over the last few years the Raptors gave us trouble because we were wack. But this beating the Knicks just put on them seals the deal, we've arrived. This and a win over the Hornets, a premier Western Conference franchise, will put us at number 11 on the NBA rankings on Monday.

I think it was a great move simply because Williams played well in the 4th and we won. Simple as that.

amare a beast.

felton is playing allstar PG ball.

amir had a good game, he and bayless played over their heads tonight, although amir is a solid player..

knicks supporting cast did their job... gallo, fields, chandler, williams even moz.... nice..

Gallo is playing smart. When you see a guy forcing his shot even when it's not falling then you have to worry, but when you see a guy making good passes and playing D, rebounding, that's a great sign that he's not letting it get to him.

Gallo played a very good game today...... Twice could of scored easily but made extra pass for Williams 3's

Derozen was quite mostly due to Gallo..... We can score from anywhere anytime and Gallo just wants to win
but could put up 30 tomorrow either way if we win its all good!

I like how Gallo is progressing

me too.. unfortunately some just look at the scoring column to determine who plays well.. good analysis..

There's a game tomorrow. Pretty sure that was some of it, but how can you take the guy out?

Missed this game, watching Nyets get housed by Kryptonate and Co. in Brick City.

Great to see another win! I see Gallo had a +19, second only to Stat, interesting.

Road Warriors!

Gallo is not shooting well but playing very effective ball. Passing, rebounding, Defense generally unselfish ball! The Moz struggles but you can see it. Good he got minutes. Its gonna happen.

Gotta say Felton is a bargain of the season and the last 10 games makes one think he maybe the right player. The MDA way is making this kid look very good! I'd say Kid Donnie and doing a hell of a job.

Not a contender in my book but I have watched more this season than the last two seasons combined.

We made the Raptors look not so good today.

Que them up on the DVR, blow thru commercials and half time and I can see a game in about 1 hour 20.
