Was at this one and all I have to say is without David Lee, Knicks get blown out easily.

I think Douglas is a good prospect but I think the end of the game perfectly sums up why D'Antoni waited this long to insert him in the lineup. Some awful decision making in the end by Douglas and I still can't fathom why the ball wasn't going to Gallo or Lee within the last 2 minutes...

w/o Gallo or TD we woulda got blown out easily too... both those kids had incredible games... TD had a rough final 2 minutes but he was draining big shots all game long & w/o that we don't even have a chance to win it down the stretch.

Nice of us to give up 45 points in the 2nd quarter.

Lee made Hill his bitch a couple of times.

Why don't we go back to posting up Gallo? Seemed to work pretty good and then we don't see it again.

we have to get T-mac and lee their shots.. can't let gallo go off for 40 points.. He looked good today, athletic and mobile.. posint martin and hitting threes.. nice game..

Douglas had a good game, has to learn to pull up and hit the open shooter and not committ leaving his feet..

I hate the slide under offensive foul BS.. another flaw in NBA rules. was made so the offensive player doesn't have an unfair advantage uprooting defenders and running guys over.. Jeffries sliding under guys is something I wasn't that much of a fan of, even when he was here... BS way to defend...

Hill looked good as well...

walt frazier calls the shot where your foot in on the three point line, the worst shot in the league.. that long 2..LOL.. he feels why not step back and inch and hit that shot... so it is really not a bad shot, just depends on how you look at things..

i hate when they do that too... breaks any rhythm of the catch & shoot... i think they should only do that when you absolutely must have a 3 pt shot.

this is going to be an interesting game to watch... a lot of "I Told You So" potential here... get your keyboards ready cacas!

Knicks played well today
its ashame they loss but ... we'll be lucky to win games at the end vs any team unless all things breaks the knicks way
NY isn't good enough and these last few games only serve to see whom could be here next yr from preset roster as well as
what zillion needs Knicks need to fill the GAP and at least be competitive for games.

The season can't end too soon for knick fans

Agreed. Gallo was huge and TD and had a good game (really wish we could take back those awful last 2 minutes though).

I mentioned Lee specifically though because he had several huge offensive rebounds that led to more points for us. Not to mention, I think he played very good D today and he was very aggressive in the 2nd half. I don't think his production could have been replaced today by any one else on this team. It was really one of the better performances I've seen from him, he was great,

I miss Jordan Hill

Think he'll be a fine pro one day is reason Walsh drafted him.

Imagine if Ariza and Hill was foundation pieces still in the Knicks fold for future along with other knicks youths

i agree bro, he did a good job on Scola & Jordan Hill for the most part, much better than the effort he's given in the past... Scola came into this game averaging 25 & 10 for 5 straight games & Lee pretty much shut him down... why he can't play this way more regularly is beyond me but for 1 game u gotta give him his props... fantastic game on both ends of the floor today.

Reezy had a nice stat line. 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. That's what I call filling out the stat sheet.

Lets face facts
any ex Knicks (Other than Jamaal Crawford) whom come into Garden will have Winning records
and has beaten up on NY past 2 yrs or so now. That is theme

We'll only win a game here or there if NO ex knicks are playing.
If we really thought ny can win games like these we shoulda kept
Jeffries, Hill and Ariza.

That formula doesnt add up those guys had to be traded
so if you're a smart BETTING Knick fan and needed some $$$dough
you'd bet vs Knicks in these type of games where a ex Knick comes back.

Even though Knicks has Hawks number & Jamaal I am sure Knicks fans would prefer
to have Atlanta's record!

The rest of the Knicks season doesn't interest me enough to post about them. I put them on the TV just for background noise.

The only real reason I am here is to congratulate TMS on Jordan Hill's performance today.

In my own defense, I always knew Hill was gonna be good -- the second the Knicks traded him!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

lol... thanks dude... actually was hoping for better out of Jordan but he held his own out there... Lee pretty much had his number but that's to be expected... w/more experience i have no doubt Jordan Hill is going to be a very good player in the NBA... u can see him developing into one right before ur eyes... seriously hope we land Lebron & Bosh this summer so i don't have to be pissed everytime i see him put up a good statline.

funny with all of the jordan Hill love.. when I was on here defending him and aruging with another poster about the Hill pick, there was very little support for Hill.. most seemed to want to play it safe and not defend Hill because they also were unsure of the pick.. Now the love for hill is hilarious.. LOL.. that is cool, but it is also why I said, lets not be so quick to call kids bust before they play a game... I do remember those who stood by hill and those who kept quiet.. just funny to see the outpouring of love now...

Lee was all over Hill's ass, but Hill had that big play toward the end where he tapped in his own rebound..he also contested some shots...it goes to show, a coach like Adelman who makes certain moves during a game for a rhyme or a reason...like putting in Jeffries solely for defense, or putting in Brooks for his ability to break down a defense and shoot from the outside...can actually help a team win with "in game" coaching.

D'Antoni is all about his "system" but his in-game coaching is virtually non-existent.

Yes, you were arguing with me and insulting me and calling me every name in the book...and guess what? I would draft Jennings over Hill 110 times out of 100 -- and so would you, you just won't admit it!

Honestly he's not that good and people are going way overboard with the love today. They must have watched a different game than I did. I saw him get murdered by Lee and even though Al shot like crap today he easily blew past Hill whenever he wanted to. I saw him drop a couple of passes with those little hands of his. He plays raw and clumsy and uncomfortable. Missed several gimmie layups ala Jeffries. He had a couple of nice little post ups where he dropped the ball in. But other than he didn't do anything special out there.

But hey if fans want to see a budding superstar and over dramatize 13pts and 4bds that's not up to me. I'm not going to do that though. He's a mediocre player and had little impact on the game.

insulting and calling you every name in the book? yea.. ok.. and the point was not who we should have drafted , but you made Hill look like he was a bust and a complete mistake. I was arguing that we should see what kind of player Hill is before we pass judgment, so far I still maintain the same argument and Hill is looking like a player and you have been quiet as hell on the subject..
