sigh... scenarios dropping like flies.

from ric bucher's twitter, seems like tyrus to the bobcats. they're putting together a nice team there:

Deal would be Thomas for Law, Murray and protected future 1st-round pick. Not done, but other suitors for Ty believe it will happen.

Sources say Cha is likeliest destination for Bulls' Ty Thomas right now, in exchange for expiring contracts. Flip Murray/Acie Law works.

see what happens when you actually get the guys larry wants?

See what happens when you let LB make trades and not get pissed off to the point you want to fire him, by him doing so. Proving he can be a better GM than the person who was hired to do the job.

His coaching isnt the problem. Its his backbiting, high drama, insecure nature that was the problem.

And I didnt know Stephan Jackson and Tyrus Thomas were "Brown kind of guys"...He's not going backstab Jordan and he'll do the best with what they bring in.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he signed off on going to Sac.

Gettin' rid of D'Lee works from where I sit, tho.

As much as Kings would love David Lee, there isn't enough time to get him to agree to trade, source says. No contact made with his reps.

Sacramento wouldn't make deal for Lee unless it knew they had a great shot to sign him this summer. No question Kings love him, though.

Those owners are cool and Sacramento is a nice place to live. If they paid me fair value--I would go.

The only place Lee would probably agree to go is NJ. He'd still get to pad his stats and wouldn't even have to move.

if the Kings want Lee, let's revisit that this summer and see if they'll take him and JJ before we make our FA push. this way, we use Lee's bird rights to give him the contract that he wants. we keep Hill to be Lee's replacement (that is, if Hill does not prove to be garbage). we don't trade no picks. this could be the best outcome to all this nonsense.

Obviously you've never been to Sacramento for any considerable length of time.

I have no idea why that rat hole is the capitol of Cali.

that's not a bad point.

keeping lee around for the summer for a sign and trade has to be a big part of this strategy. but that could take time to work out in the summer. by the time it happened, we might not be left with much on the table.

i would have thought about a dlee for kevin martin trade... ah well.

LMFAO @ them shutting off all communication. Sacramento has cap space, so even though Lee loses Bird's Rights they still have the potential to give him the highest starting salary/and yrs... say maybe than we would have. Only thing he loses out is potential number of yrs and percentage on raises.

For example maybe we would have offered Lee....4yrs/$45mil

For example maybe Kings offer him 5yrs/$60mil
