i think Cosmic was talking about Lee's defense only... u have to admit, Scola was having his way w/Lee offensively & Lee was doing the same on the other side... if we only had a shotblocking defensive bigman in the paint Lee's weaknesses would be so much less apparent... hopefully Hill will get a shot at some point this season to show if he can fill that role.

That's on coach. As much as Gallo, JJ, Will and Bender give some help Defense, we need a bona fide shot blocker who is a threat on offense, and not a TO machine as soon he puts the ball on the floor (Looking at you Bender). Hill or even Darko can fit that bill, but for the life of me I do not understand why he is not playing them.
I like D'Antoni over all, but this is the area where I have strong misgivings about his coaching.

that's exactly how i feel too... when we signed Darko i thought he could help this team & be a nice complement next to Lee, but for whatever reason he didn't factor into MDA's plans & he got banished to the end of the bench... some reports seem to suggest that his attitude might have sucked, but i don't see that same type of bad attitude from Jordan Hill... the kid has been very active everytime MDA has put him out there, regardless of how long he's been on the bench prior... that shows me the kid only wants to play & isn't lazy like some guys think he is.

David Lee - I cant even hate because his offensive game is so smooth now, handle included. He still stinks on defense though.

Wilson Chandler - Has been playing pretty consistent but seems to play like a chicken with his head cut off.

Chris Duhon - I cant believe I defended him earlier in the season. The guy stinks at both ends. Glad he is expiring.

Nate Robinson - Nate being Nate. He is brought in as a scorer off the bench so I cant get too annoyed. Lets just say I wont miss him.

Jefferies - His few defensive plays aren't worth his complete lack of offense not to mention Carl Landry gave him the business.

Overall I liked how we played. We just need to gut our back court. I'd kill for Mike Miller on this team.

Interesting where is your point for Gallo? Because he didn't show up tonight at all.

Gallinari seems to like coasting for long stretches. I think Gallo needs to play the 4 too truly be effective everygame. Problem is a front court of Lee and Gallo is as soft as cotton candy.

To be fair, Gallo has started to take the ball to the hole but I think he was taken out of the game early with Ariza. That foul had purpose. That was a foul that Riley and Don Chaney would be proud of. He has to learn how to overcome physical play like that from guys who game plan for his shooting. Shane and Ariza were in his face all nite.

Wait until the games really start getting tough

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

It's all good, TKF.

As you know when I have an opinion I lay it on thick. Maybe too thick in an attempt to get my point across.
