Nixluva, did you see any of his defensive skills in the video's that we all were privy to before the draft ? We took him for his offense period. I don't hate the kid , he's a gamer but I just didn't like him that high in the draft. Some of you are making me feel as if he was NYC bred and born how you rave about the kid and he's a can't do no wrong 2nd yr guy. If you love him and his game that's cool man, he would be a good six man on a good team, I wouldn't build a team around him. He's a good piece though. I just wanted a floor leader or a lead guard 1st and then a guy to man the middle and go from there.

Aside from centers no one is drafted in the lottery for their defensive skills. You get that as a plus and in Gallo's case it's a plus cuz many said he was too slow and stiff to play D and they were wrong!

What floor leader are you referring to that we passed up for Gallo?

Why insult Gallo by saying he'd be a good sixth man on a good team? He's a kid coming off an injury shortened rookie season! He hasn't even gotten started yet! Can we see what he does after at least 82 NBA games. This isn't his 5th year where you can say OK this is who he is gonna be. Besides what are you using to make that determination? So far nothing he's done would be an indicator that what you say is accurate. If anything he's showing signs of being much more than that. He's done nothing but get better and better.
