How many times have the Knicks completely blown their offensive possessions in the final.

Cheap rebound for Lee continues the streak

Well, at least Starbury won tonight.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

duhon has been bad tonight. he's been bad for a while now. that's depressing. i guess he's not the building block we wanted him to be?

Iggy's shot clock beater was the difference IMO, that was their opportunity to make the most important stop of the game (down 2).

For me it was Andre Miller easy penetration on Duhon twice in the last 3 minutes. Duhon couldn't even slow him up a little or put pressure on him. Matador D. Iggy hit a tough shot. Miller's shots were too easy.

My point was Knicks had the shot clock wound down- that was the closest they got to coming up with a key stop

How many sideline reporters does MSG have? Did they just pull out their third one of the game?

this is a bad bad loss. a team with playoff aspirations doesn't get blown out in the first quarter at home. more disconcerting is how whack duhon looks and why d'antoni keeps changing wilson's role. wilson scores 27pts as a starter one game and hits the bench so qrich can "defend" iggy or young or something? bad game.

I noticed that too. I think Tina has to get back to cover the host the post game wrap up. Al is doing the playcalling tonight so he can't.

"Yeah, I'm worried about it at this point," D'Antoni said when asked about potential surgery. "We're just going to do what's best for him. He's 20 years old. We'd love for him to play in the next two or three weeks, we'd love for him to play in the next two or three months, but he's got to be 100 percent well. From that point, we'll see. And I don't know when that point will be."

I'm pretty sure that if Gallinari is still injured but being allowed to play, we aren't going to be the ones destroying him.

Thank you.

It's obviously a figure of speech or turn of phrase. If they weren't going to play him until he was 100% why would they feel the need to see how it goes from there? He probably meant until he was cleared to play (obviously at reduced minutes) or a decision was made that surgery would not be done this season, etc.

But instead of being realistic, at the moment he said that and Gallo got a minute or two on the floor you decided the Kid was in fact 100% and you could judge him against every other rookie in the league in order to prove the pick was botched.

It's not that the quote was so loaded with meaning, it was just an opportunity for you to add to your arsenal. From that point on you weren't limited to solely bashing him for being damaged goods, then you could argue he's fatally damaged and/or he sucks.

What I don't understand is why Chandler wasn't in the game for Duhon at the end of the game? He could've guarded Miller who abused Duhon all night. I swear Duhon is useless. No Defense. No ball handling. No pushing the ball up. Slow as hell and brain dead.

Ahhhh... I feel much better now.
