I watched the replay of the 4th Q---I put this one on
I think the players did a very good job not only to come back from a rather large deficit but to turn it around+30 in less than 8 minutes was incredible. RIP Crushalot😞

For the Knicks not to score in that last minute and a half or so was also a travesty that could've prevented the loss. We can't seem to run one decent play at the end of games.

Ya know looking at the interviews over and over some observations
1 With MDA talking you can see it in his eyes he was disappointed. Now I dont wanna say he didnt wanna throw dumb ass jefferies under the bus but...... Maybe he figured out the fans dont like jefferies anyway so he had to protect his player. Also remember this is a new Knicks regeime(sp?) They want to keep their problems and mistakes in house other than air them out in the media. Just a thought. Also think Lee was told what to say to the media?? Hes the most media worthy on the team, maybe before the press conference he was told to keep it in house, protect your player and the coaches and we will take care of it. How come jefferies wasnt interviewed??? things that make you go hummmmmmmmmmmm!! Im as pissed as anyone they lost but you gotta remember they dont air their dirty laundry to the media and we as fans hafta think about this down the road. Just thinking here. |

Posted by cooch2584: Dude, this isn't the first time. It is part of his mantra. He doesn't like to use the foul to give. He did the same in Phoenix and earlier with the Knicks. That's the reason why Clyde yelled to Gus "I told you they're weren't going to foul" As I noted Chandler in the Bulls game took it on himself to give a foul to Rose to break up the play and D'Antoni went nuts. D'Antoni actually took the low road a little by trying to defer to Jeffries in the post game interview which is why Trautwig and Kelly were getting on the media for not taking it to D'Antoni, why some local media were getting on D'Antoni because they all know he called for the no foul. As Lee indicated they were never instructed to foul (can't be any clearer than that). I don't like to play bad rookies , I like to play good rookies - Mike D'Antoni

Phar I dont believe anything thats said to the media from this team. Its just that they have always had holes in their stories during the IT era.I think MDA and Walsh want to change that image that everyting goes to the media. So its hush hush on things like this and impending trades.

Posted by cooch2584: That's fine but you are missing the point. This isn't new a thing with D'Antoni. That's why Clyde knew before the inbound that they wouldn't foul and the folks back at MSG knew as well. He had this concept in Phoenix as well and has already demonstrated a dislike of fouling in that situation and then yesterday during the post game conference he gives you his reasoning about it being a gamble that the guy may take a shot while you are fouling which puts the player at the line. I think it is hard to swallow because traditionally captains and head coaches during these timeouts ask the officials do they indeed have a foul to give and indicate that they plan to foul immediately to ensure that a foul is call.
