He has future All-Star written all over him. If he played for Portland or the Bulls, guys around here would be jacking off to his pictures daily and constantly making threads for every good game he has.

There's like one person who thinks his ceiling is a role player. Where do you get the feeling people are hating on him? I think most people are pretty happy with his play.

Hate might be strong, I'll admit, but this thread has been awfully critical of a 21 y/o that obviously is still learning the game. Compare this thread with the fawning over other young players on other teams that routinely happens around here.

I agree with you there. That's a given. We always seem to put down our own players. We even undersold Patrick. In general I think most like his production, but they won't love him until he is actually a star. That's just the way we operate sometimes.
