I agree with TMS. You put Rondo on the Knicks, and he's a bum.

He's a young player that is extremely unselfish, plays defense, and implements his role exceptionally well as a possible 4th option behind the big 3.

All Stars can thrive in any system. Role players need to be utilized within a certain type of system to succeed.

Look on the bright side we only have to make up 43 games on the celtics next year and you know how the NY Knicks opertae no matter who is incharge--they will believe they can get iot all back in 1 year? Did you hear that Boston---f-o-r-m-i-d-a-b-l-e

there are guys on this team right now that if you put them on a team w/a big 3 like Boston has would be just as "special" as Rondo... this is the difference between our team & theirs... they got leaders & star calibre players that their role players can support... we got Marbury, Zach & Curry.

rondo would've given the knicks a real point guard - the knicks would've been a better team with him. how much better, nobody knows but definitely better.

with rondo upfront and perkins and kg guarding the basket--their up the middle defense combined with unselfish offensive play was too much for the rest of the league. This was a bit of an under rated throw back to the 90s team. They just roughed teams up. They barely averaged 100 points and won 66 games + championship.

Yes, only the stars can be great players. What is there to not understand about that ? Role player are not great players, and 99.9% of them do not go on to be great players inducted to the Hall of Fame.

Rondo could've done anything he wanted on the Knicks, but they would've still missed the playoffs by a mile.

dude, i dunno what standards you're using but i don't consider role players as being anything special... they're called role players for a reason.

BIG congrats to KG and Ray Jesus. They deserved rings the most.

Love him or hate him, Paul Pierce was phenomenal on both ends of the floor in this series and deserves to be the MVP.

I humbly apologize to Doc Rivers - he outcoached Phil in this series.

Defense wins championships, guys.

man, KG's such a punk... stick out your tongue & beat that chest dude... you guys are champions... you earned it.

what irks me is when this guy acts like a big tough man on the court whenever things are going great for his team, then looks so meek & completely disappears when things don't... KG may be a tough guy when it comes to punching young rookies in the face in practice, but i remember he got punked on live television by Anthony Peeler a couple years back.

remember this? not 1 of your finer moments KG.
