I think he has potential to be come a very good defender because he has the desire like u said he just needs the experience which he is getting and he continues to improve.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I just got home from the game, and for the first time in a long time, it was good to have my beer, my Prime Rib sammich, cheering the Knicks on with the Ultimate Knicks crew, all the way through to the WIN.

We need more nights like this, and IMO we'll be seeing them this season!

GO KNICKS!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Good win.
Mini looks better that I was thinking.
They have 2-3 promising players.
Of course they are still very bad team but they can compete.
I still cannot understand how we was outrebounded 41-34?
Defense was bad but we have enough fire-power to bit teams like this without playing to much defense.

"In the past I've always been the guy that kind of guys start saying 'Come on, Jamal, it's time to step up,"' Crawford said. "So I take pride in that."

Papabear Say
I just got home and It was a good game. I had a great time and the fans were wild.
Turnovers reasonably low. Good sign. N8 have a hamstring problem.
Very bad sign is the awful 3 point defense. Early returns say our biggest weakness last season is still a big concern.
Still, even with the awful perimeter D, replacing Frye's minutes with Zach's and keeping TOs reasonable should result in big returns in the win column. This game last year we would loose.
Jamal looks very good offensively in the first 2 games, and what is promising is that he's doing it by attacking the basket. His shot won't always be on but he can always get to the rim.

Going to be interesting watching Zach getting 22 shots a game and shooting about 43 percent from the field. After tonight Zach is going to get his shots and a lot of them are bad shots. Thought Curry was great

Zach saw the double (and triple) every time he got the ball tonight and its up to him recognize it and kick it out to the right guy. I think that disrupted his game tonight, but he still made a few nice shots and got 10 boards.

I think Zach scored well within the flow on Friday night and we scored over 100 pts as a team.

As a whole I think Zach getting his shots is not gonna really disrupt our effectiveness on O that much- but if he's constantly getting the double we need to shift our focus away from the post and go to the lineup/offensive flow we saw tonight. Where Nate, Craw, Lee, Balk and Curry played a bit more up tempo and played effectively.

The guy that's a black hole out there right now is QRich. That's unfortunate cause he's played the game the right way since he's been here, but he's of no use to us just floating along the perimeter and not grabbing boards.

TKF? Who was guarding Buckner, most of the time? That's right, #3. His defense last year was imporved. So far this year, it is a joke.

The other thing I don't get is why the perimeter defenders leave them man so early, when someone goes to the rim. At least wait until the penetrator dishes or shoots!!

Otherwise, I like what I see with most of the team. Minnesota has some talent and they will play hard for Whitman. Ratliffe looks reborn. Gomes can turn into a heck of a player. Add Foye to the mix and this team may be very decent in a year or two.

Yea, what you noticed is that guys are laving their man when they are not even in position to make teh play. you see that all the time. If you can't get to the man with the ball in order to make a play, don't leave your man.. Jamal is good at doing that. he will leave his man way across the court to help defend on a penetrator he has no chance at stopping.. nowhere close...

TKF, you know we always have one scrub go off against us every single game. It's just that we're so poor defensively that we actively seek to help out against the star players thinking we can pay no attention to another team's scrub. Now, why when other teams do it, the scrub goes 1-10 with 6 fouls - versus going for 30 against our Knicks - I can't and never could answer.

Meanwhile, I apologize for the delay, but here were the videocaps of last nights game.

http://www.zshare.net/video/4678385fa130bd/

I packed a lot of extra pre-game into that including the game itself. No post game, just didn't have the time to add that in.

While we squeaked past a poor Wolves team there were some positives in there. Jamal had a second consecutive solid game, Zach picked his places, David Lee continues to impress me with his dynamic new post game. We still have work to do if we're going to contend for a playoff spot but it would be hard to nitpick at last night's game.
