I think the guy has a long way to go, but he's showing signs of at least understanding what he needs to do. And truly understanding is 90% of the battle.

Curry is still lazy. His defense still stinks because of it. On offense he's always been interested in getting his.

The reports are that he's staying late in practice to continue to work on his game.

I don't think you need reports to tell you that he's working harder. You can jsut watch the way he is actually going after rebounds to understand that he is at least getting part of the message. But I also don't think you need reports to know that in the past he has been fat and out of shape and has not dedicated himself to basketball like he is trying to today.

Not only that, he's also averaging 10 boards and 1.5 blocks/game this month. He's gradually doing it on both ends of the court.

Curry's 3P% this year is 0 this compared to his career percentage of 1000%. This is clear evidence that not only is he the same Eddy as last year, but despite his career numbers (24/11/1.6) in the last 5 games, he is, in fact, regressing.

btw, new here, first post

Thats not really true even. All bigs throw in a clunker here and there. Its a dependant position so its not unsual but if you look at the whole season or the last 6 weeks Curry has had very few clunkers. He is averaging 18ppg on 55% shooting. How inconsistant can he have been?
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

After the 10 games he had, there was a major dropoff for a few, then he is building back up to more or less average(granted it is more his rebounding, tenacity, defense, shotblocking that are really inconsistent).

It was 11 straight games and even since that ended he is at around 17ppg. No sense arguing though I just saw your lists of centers better than or equal to Curry. That just made me laugh

Well, considering I didn't see your list, I'll take your opinion and flush it like I do all of my waste.

Same player with more minutes. He didn't do anything to improve in his areas of weakness.

Not. He has made many beautiful moves finishing with his left hand. He has shown nice footwork in the paint, he has played some games with fire and passion on both ends. He didn't even know he had a left hand last year and he always went right.

Curry left Chicago w/career averages of 11.8 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 23.1 mpg... this season he's putting up 18 & 7 in 33 mpg... i guess we could say he's the same player w/more minutes if he was putting up 25 & 10 in 40 mpg too then.

i love that type of logic.
