If Dolan fires Isiah, Brown will trade for Theo Ratliff and start Theo and AD.
crz---you know once they brought in brown, we were headed for ego clashing.
I think it stinks that any of us have to get mad about the Knicks because of collateral problems, and on top of it this is BY FAR the WORST collective group that I have seen play for the NY Knicks in my lifetime-- It's not about a few individual pieces, its about the unit. its TERRIBLE--Even during our win streak, there was an under-current--we were outscoring teams--we werent beating them. I don't want Eric Snow just like you, that would be a disater. But if they bring in/and or draft a coupel of guys that play defense first to add in, the team would be better balanced. Whatever you think of lB, they made the decision to bring him in here at 65yrs old with helthproblems for 10mm per. I was against the box saying it was a bad decision, I would have rather gone younger, but that is neither here nor there. Someone has to drop the boot on this team. If you go down to the Atlanta Hawks the way we did, its time for some kind of change.
I'm beginning to agree. The team is down and distracted and Zeke is a big reason why. I still think there is plenty of talent here, but I obviously can't argue that Zeke's scandal isn't wrecking this team's fragile confidence.
I don't even know where to begin on a rebuild. Do you trade the expiring contracts for a real small forward or shooting guard? it's one of the only ways we can acquire talent with no lotto picks. Do we try to combine an expiring contract with QRich or JJames to get some of the crap off this roster? Do we try to do the Jalen/Penny trade and at least get the Denver pick?
I don't know. I'm thinking they should try to add pieces, smartly. Maybe let Brown make the trades, but tell him the players coming back have to be under 30. Weren't not looking at being under the cap anytime soon, unless we can move Qrich and Crawford. I don't think it makes sense to try to get under the cap without picks.
