You think gettin Taylor somehow allows us to trade KT, are you insane?

Do you not notice Sweetney, Rose, and JYD already on the freakin roster?

Let me get this straight, we can only go into the season with at least 4 PF's on the roster, is that it? Thats why we got a 5th one just in case we trade one that we already have?

Idiots who liked the Mo Taylor trade man up!!!

I don't think Rose or JYD are everyday starting PFs

Yes, Sweetney is, but I think Taylor has a bit of the O game that we lost with KT.

Definitely, at least Mo is an actual threat unlike Vin or Moochie--he'll actually give you some productive minutes. Didn't the trade open up a roster spot as well for one of our young players?

First of all you are not opening up a roster spot by trading players you could have just waived.

Second of all Taylor is also not a starting PF.

Don'g make me make it my sig! LOL.

I was sooo sick of the team last year I was welcoming anybody who had any talent, especially front court players who actually had a little game.

Don't bother with logic, some Knick fans aren't happy unless they're mad at something. The contract length is almost the same and the money is similar as well. It made sense, this year will really tell us what we've got with him. Will he play for Larry? We'll see. Is he better to have than Moochie and Vinny? No question.

Right its only logic when you are right lol.

I mean it is perfectly logical to trade for a 5th PF with a contract that is very hard to move.

How in the world can anybody dout the wisdom of giving up a 2nd round pick so you can a better scrub out of your rotation then the one you traded away?

I mean it all makes perfect sense, how can somebody have the audacity to disagree, they are simply illogical!

I didn't understand the trade, but I thought it was OK given what we gave up. He is a useful player. If we had a rash of unexpected injuries, Mo is a good player and would contribute. No matter how much people protest, IT has tended to get more talent than he gives up. Now we have a deep team and fouls and injuries won't hurt us as much as other teams, cuz the guys we bring in have a similar level of ability. Mo's contract is up soon enough, so he's not really at issue. its JYD and Rose's contracts that are the longer problems. At least they'll be good backups.

I always thought the franchise was dealt a blow when we had three mid first round picks in 96 I think--John Wallace, Dontae Jones, and Walter McCarty--all big man busts. Imagine if Isiah had three first rounders and all were busts! It really sets back the development of the team.

Channing Frye
Nate Robinson
David Lee

We could have two out of three busts pretty soon!

As to the Mo Taylor trade, I didn't especially like it in and of itself but I think it made it possible, at least in Isiah's mind, to trade KT

We can talk about all the power forwards we have, but lets be serious- both JYD & Rose should be sitiuational players off the bench and Sweetney might average 37 fouls per 48 mins. Trade KT and who is the starting PF? Sweetney, Rose or JYD?

Adding Mo T at least gives you a pro player who can at least give you a little offensive production up front and that is probably why isiah felt he could trade KT- because between Sweet & MO T we should be able to get 10+ & 10.

I think adding James gives Isiah the potential flexibility to trade Sweetney.

With Frye on board, you should theoretically get similar production from him as you would sweetney. Without JJ, Frye is the starting C and you can't trade Sweets.
