To be fair, I think we can all have a good laugh when its over, beat Briggs up a bit on his proclamation that Trump will carry CT, but really if this country is to ever unite, which is why we are great, then it can begin with us.

My feeling is a Hillary win is great for Fox as they can go back to "business as usual" of hating on Democrats which is great for business. What we need is for Trumps movement of bullying politics to be found wanting and the country is able to get over it.
It won't be easy. I fear he will try to monetize his popularity as had Sarah Palin and he becomes a voice for a generation frustrated and left behind by globalization with less than a full education.

Now I think most of them were genuinely repulsed by the video, but almost ALL of them (and many Democrats too, to be fair) used the "I have a wife and daughter" rhetorical device ... as if you needed to understand what was being described was sexual assault or sympathize with the issue.

The mode of thinking is just so misplaced. I too have a wife and daughter, and a sister and a mother, and nieces old and young, and lots of female friends, but I didn't need any of them to fully appreciate what this is. I just need to be a normally adjusted person.

And I'd say again to anyone clinging to the notion the 59-year Donald Trump found religion AFTER that time in his life.

10 months ago he said very publicly he could shoot someone one 5th avenue and he could get away with it with his supporters.

It is amazing...And that this is the prevailing topic of discussion in such an important election...Republicans are always concerned about world view and how we look...Obama embarrassed us when he didn't act on Syria violating the red line..Are they concerned what our country looks like with Trump as their front man??..Macho symbolism and not substance rules their day...

they are laying the groundwork now...this will be their excuse when the "n-word" bomb drops.

Fox News host Shep Smith launched a blistering attack on Donald Trump Monday, questioning what the GOP presidential nominee’s real motives are.

Smith railed against Trump for pandering to his voter base by attacking his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton during Sunday night’s presidential debate. He also criticized the brash businessman for failing to court undecided voters who wanted to hear substantive arguments, as Trump vowed to jail Clinton if he were elected.

“It might have been bordering on unconstitutional, maybe even something almost definitionally fascist,” Smith said of the declaration. “This, ‘If I get elected, I’m going to prosecute my political opponent,’ that’s never been done in the history of the United States.”

Smith speculated that Trump’s debate performance was not one of a candidate attempting to win the general election, but perhaps of a person vying for a media network. “It’s all set up not as a guy who’s trying to win what’s left to get, but a guy who has another agenda,” he said.

Rumors have been circulating for months that Trump’s back-up plan if he loses in November will be to start a media network catered to his voter base.
