Complete chaos at the end of regulation. Knicks have to know how to close out a lead in these situations. How often have we had trouble inbounding the basketball?

This is a really good team and a squad with grit. They dont quit and we have one of the best finishers in the game. Brunson's late 3s have been wildly clutch.

Cannot lose when Emmy is there! I was chilling and ready to go to bed and we choke away a 6 point lead in the last 18 seconds in dramatic fashion and almost gave me a heart attack! Brought back my PTSD from Reggie Miller shoving Greg Anthony and then stealing the inbound pass from Mase and you all know the rest. I love KAT and he had a monster game, second straight over 40, but he almost had an epic collapse with that inbound pass and getting beat for that rebound in the final seconds. Kudos to the team for staying poised and finishing the game in OT, even after getting down 5 early. Brunson hit all the big shots and he did it against one of the top if not the top perimeter defender in Daniels. I also loved that bullet pass to Precious for the dunk!

Don't wanna bitch too much about KAT cause back to back 40 point games is crazy and he looks healed from that thumb injury. His 3 point shooting looks fluid and he's shooting it well and from deep but his rebounding is off lately. He's not rebounding with the same passion or effort the last few games. Almost cost us the game! Thank goodness for the Captain. He's easily the most clutch player we've ever had.

Precious with a career high 26! Payne once gave us some big minutes. He's an absolute steal for the minimum! I know Kolek is the future but Payne has been underrated this season.

Freaking HATE Trae Young but you have to give him respect. I hate the way he plays but he's another one of those guys who doesn't have the elite measurables or athleticism but he just knows how to cheat the system and play the game. Bridges plays him better than anyone and there is just not much you can do when that little troll is shooting from the logo and hitting those floaters. A big thank you to Niang for missing that last one too. Thought that was going in! So wish we had a Niang and LaVert on our bench.

36-18 at the break! Best record in decades and we're getting Mitch and OG back!

KAT was awesome, but Okongwu just dominated him on the glass. KAT has been so good rebounding, but I felt like he couldn't box out Okongwu. We also stopped almost no one in drop coverage. One man back and we never block a shot or deter a shot at the rim. I guess he was just tired at the end of the game. That said the thumb seems to be better so he's shooting the 3 more frequently again and he seems to gotten his stroke back.

Not so good in that they really didn't have an offensive flow? Maybe I was too in and out when watching but things didn't look easy on O, it was just pure talent with KAT and Brunson.

1. I thought we had something of flow but what we really lacked was killer instinct. We were up 18 and expected them to fold. If Boston were up 18 they'd be trying to get up by 30

2. OG makes things different on offense too. He could do all the cuts Precious was doing, but he's also a reliable threat at 3 opening things up better for Brunson

3. Dyson was a bigger threat to us than Trae. He had a lot of steals and deflections and generally disruptive of Jalen. Atlanta got a lot of points off turnovers

4. No disrespect to Precious but for all of his rebounds and general style of play we got outrebounded. I'm not sure that would happen with OG starting and P coming off bench.

You are correct....good catch....Expectations of the season ( I've seen some people amd writers say it's ECF or bust) and Comparison tje last year's team that has robbed the joy from some. This is year one for this current team and all we have done is get off to the best start since the championship years.

The 2 teams ahead of us in the east have been together way longer than we have been....are there some warts? Absolutely....but we have at least a 3-4 years window....looking forward to the ride

At this point he's a more eff% Lillard which... is why he's starting the all star game. All these core guys are such hard workers as is Thibs. I love watching the team after a loss. They are so pissed. We had that 3 game losing streak and we lost @Hou/@atl early in the year. That's it. Those are our losing streaks. That's what I like most about our playoff chances. Mikal and Josh were playing like they were hung over or really ready for the All star break. Or tired, got to always throw that in this year I guess.
