The refs were a factor.

He doesn't like contact on O or D.

He did play great offensively and decently on D.

Sucks because that was a game we should have imposed our will on them down the stretch -- too many lazy/sloppy plays and decisions. OG gets swatted at rim it seems 50% of his attempts.

Lil bit of both....all of out starters played over 40 mins...none of OKC starters touched 40...if we want a fighting chance to beat the elite teams, we have to use our depth or get guys in here that the coach will trust...

I honestly wonder if Thibs will ever be that kind of a coach. I mean, there is talent in the bench, but you negate some simply because they are young and make mistakes (like veterans don’t sometimes?) and then the other part you just use for 10mins or so?

Nah, this is too shortsighted. At this point the bench should be on a rhythm and it’s impossible playing so little.

Exactly. They get no time so when he is forced to play them they play bad since they are out of rhythm. It is a never ending cycle. Kolek is the second best playmaker on the team. Cam has shown he is not a good playmaker vs tough defenses. We know Kolek will be glued to the bench no matter how much we need his skillset. Hukporti has been a positive every time he played. Then he sits for a month plus. I like Thibs but he has some major issues.

Mikal Totally disappeared in the second half. When Brunson is struggling, he needs to step up and put his stamp on it. He was hot the first half, should have kept it going the second.
