Posted a stat earlier today that we have had +20 point leads 20% of the time - tops in league.

We started 4th quarter and score was ~+25.

Definitely feels like we’ve rarely been in a close game this year. Lots of blowout wins for sure. It’s almost kind of boring. I’m used to Cardiac Knicks especially after the last playoff run.

Spacing out on D.
Low effort.
Being too emotional to the point he makes bad mistakes.

spinning into turnovers.
throwing short distant rockets as passes.
ball stopping.
His bad body language.

I QUIETLY AGREE WITH YOU 100% but want to look forward now and hope for GREAT HEALTH for this squad.

I LOUDLY AGREE

Me and clean (and a few others) was quick to say Randle needs to go. It was clear when JB came. For me it was clear before JB came. He stunts the offense and makes it hard for others to eat.

Kat game just fits better. Randles not a bad player. I remember saying after his big games, we should trade him now while his value is high.

By the way……THE DEUCE STAYS LOOSE

Great win
Great team

Still not a fan of these mins like mikal playing 46 mins? Hes Mr. Ironman but not for long if Thibs keeps this up.

Cutting is so engrained in this team both Mikal and Precious see's the opening and both cut at almost the same time. Precious get there first but I say this because there was a time not so long ego that the only person on the team that used cuts was Obi Toppin. We have come a long way.

The Knicks have already surpassed the number of 30 plus assist games this year compared to last!

With three new starting players!!

Called out JB to step up and get others involved, he has more than answered the call!
Adding to his incredible run as a Knick.

Can only get better with Precious and MR returning and , I believe, adding to our defensive depth.
We are top in offense and can be top in defense as well.

In all seriousness he is the biggest impact defensive player since Camby. He impacts more plays than any individual defender Ive seen since ont he Knicks since that Camby finals run

Modern day Dave Debusschere.
Dave had range, was a better rebounder. CAREER AVG 11PER GAME!!
Listed at 6-6.
Retired at age 33. Was an Allstar his last 5 years also.
Career 16pt per nite avg. His last season he avg. 2nd highest pt total, 18 per.
Was an ironman, rarely missed games. Not in his stats was his defensive chops. Very OG like.
Back in the day some players knew when it was time to hang it up. Dave had a great year, one year removed from being champs. Reed played 19 games in 1974, came back for playoffs. Back then it was just Quarter, Semi, then finals. No "conference Finals". Knicks beat the Capital Bullets in 7 games then fell to Boston 1-4.
Debusschere retired an all star, 10th in MVP voting his last year. He was soon became GM of Nets and ABA commissioner as they folded. Sad he died at 62 years old! Reed did not play at all in 1975 and then retired. He went from finals MVP to just 19 games the next year.

OG got some work to do. Hope this group can gain a chip and get their numbers retired!11

Feel like you must have not only good passer but good cutters too, and we finally got the right combo.

Loved the smash mouth team we had in Jan last year and beyond, but Brunson and especially Randle were a bit sticky and ISO heavy, looking to score more than pass, although each obviously did their thing.

Brunson is making a concerted effort and it is glorious.

KAT is a facsimile of the best that was Embiid.
Forget the dirty stuff and admire what Joel was. Had range, good passing, and can take it to the rim.

Early projections were our core 5 was contender worthy. It was the bench that is suspect.
Mitch and Precious were out. All teams have injuries and we will have others going forward. Our depth is an issue and as noted preseason by Windhorst and others it might take a while to round that out. Might not happen this year.

Im not counting on Shamet to save us. His shooting dropped last year and one cannot be certain he'd be impactful.
Mitch? I get the defensive impact based on his past but how he fits with KAT will be interesting, We start him and Kat becomes the parameter guy?
im not counting on any trades to put us over the top.
This happens is mostly organic and what Thibs cooks up in his brain.
If healthy we compete with any team now, and if we can get a gift via buy out later in season perhaps there is a path. 75% of seasons still to go!!!

I was a little nervous and fuming at the start of this game when we got down 20 to 9 but Brunson had one of those games where he just didn't miss and kept it close enough. Hart then went crazy in the 2nd quarter. He's shooting the ball so well! Leads the league at 6'4" in FG% within 5' from the basket which is just insane! And he's shooting an even more insane 40% from three!

We took over in that second half. OGs back to back blocks was fun and they really need to get him his very own mic! KAT's transition dunk was nasty! Great to have Precious back! Kudos to Sims for filling in but his inability to do anything offensively does hurt us and you can tell it really pissed off Thibs when he commited that turnover and was benched and never came back. Sims must develop a floater or a hook or something within 5' like Hartenstein or he won't play when the competition gets better.

Feel good at 14-8!

Nick Richards looks like he could help us on D and the boards. Don't know if he can fit in offensively, but we should continue to keep an eye there.

This team is way too funny.
Josh Hart yelling "I got it" on a rebound where no one else was even near.

Then KAT while running back yells at Hart" Yea! You got it. You got it!".

Thibs was in his coaching bag this game. Hart being able to hit 3's helped a ton. Char was trying to find somewhere to hide their center and Thibs kept making them pay for it. I love these post game breakdowns since you can miss a lot watching it live.
