Most disappointed in Brunson. Cant contend if he's ball stopping.

Got a lot of work to do but it's one game and we have a really good coach and leader and we will be ok. It's just going to take some time to get where we need to be.

Not concerned at all after this game. Celtics could beat anyone by 50 with that shooting. Mikal got comfortable. McBride looks like he’s taking his game to the next level. Everyone else looked as expected. Totally fine with how the Knicks looked.

Nothing about tonight was surprising.

Pieces don’t fit, we have no depth. No one outside of Brunson and Deuce can break anyone down. The team isn’t great.

We dont have anyone that can get easy buckets.

We rarely if ever got blown out last season.

Interesting that Bridges and OG played the most minutes (34,35). They both look like the they need the reps to get comfortable.

The Bridges being obscenely bad on Defense thing is what has to change most by Game 2.

If Mitch played next to Towns tonight, the Celts would have broke the record in the 3rd quarter. Who would Towns have guarded tonight? Tatum? Harford would have knocked down a few more 3s as Mitch hand out by the paint.

I do think there are certain matchups where Towns and Mitch should play together but not against the Celts that's playing a legit 5 out...

I expect us to play a lot better after about 30 games. I also expect us to be below.500 the first 30 games. Our passing is key to a good season. We don't have anyone on the team who could try to have a 3-point shootout with anyone. Donte was that guy. This team? Maybe Brunson.
Our rebounding is horrendous. Makes my eyes bleed. KAT is the only one who can rebound. Hart needs to be next to a center AND a power forward whi are both great at rebounding to really shine

Come on man. His world was turned upside down like 3 weeks ago. He’s had some practices with a completely new team, a few practice games and then here you are opening night on national TV playing the champs who brought their entire team from last year back. Knicks have pressure to perform as a contender this year. It’s a lot for anyone

you all know im probally the oldest guy here. saw 2Knicks championships in my lifetime. been a knicks fan since 1967, very high hopes for this team this season. but if kat, bridges and hart dont get up to par, it gonna be a love hate relationship at DA GARDEN and if that happens its gonna be a long season
