Brunson/Hart/Bridges/OG/Kat makes too much sense. The positional size advantage of Bridges at SG and OG at SF is hard to overlook, but you can have that in a “big” lineup when Robinson comes back. KATs ability to stretch might actually make Robinson more effective.

Fact is that the options are great.

Brunson/Bridges/OG/KAT/Robinson is just pure beast mode.

Payne has scoring chops. Deuce can light it up. KBD has been know to drop 30+ on occasion. Morris used to be able to score. Achiuwa csn be a 2nd unit center easily. Or Robinson.

Kolek/Dadiet will need time to adjust but that pairing will solidify the second unit.

Maybe the deadline of training camp combined with Julius Randle’s looming contract situation and the length of Mitchell Robinson’s absence made the Knicks more motivated to complete the trade."

Would LOVED to have seen version with healthy Mitch. Same with small ball but gotta admit both were slightly awkward. Both had potential to be very good or frustrating.

We got 5 out potential with 2 unique devastators ant PG & C and wing bros that are elite. Feels like the Knicks are just missing some spare parts bruising PFs but that may be pretty easy to fill from the scrap pile or later on.

One wrinkle is Precious can play 4 all day next to KAT. He fits extremely well next to him. So he’s a bruiser we have in tow.

Yep, I like that a lot and think it’s gonna happen.

Precious fits that and he’s gotta be hungry. This is his spot to lose and Brooklyn born got contract extension dreams to feed that fire.

DDVs minutes would be limited on this roster. Mitch will have a big role when healthy. Rather than diminish DDVs value by burying him on the bench, or making McBride irrelevant, a trade was needed.

but i like this better than paying Ihart, Randle and Divo $60m, we've lacked spacing at the 5 for years.
